I have not drawn much this year bc I am busy with book layout on like four different books but the upside to that is I can buy goofy art of my characters. Couldn't resist getting a car commission from nicogotchi of my Thylacine fursona, Coyote, with my silly little orange Subaru. :)
Hoping I don't feel like I got hit buy a truck once I finish all these books so I can draw again.
what is charlie up to in his free time these days? 🤔 Fursuit perhaps?
I gotta go get a different "darker" orange bc imo the oranges are TOO close. I want the main orange to be the brighter UV reactive one. lol.
I'm gonna keep WIP stuff contained to this post I think. :) Bucket head base is set up and I am carving the snoot slowly. There's more progress on the snout than pictured now but I have yet to take pics. lol.
I need to carve on the ears a bit more but I got a lot more done than I thought since last update. :P
Cheeks and brow are next. I'll probably do some more snoot trimming/carving along the way.
Planning on getting 3D printed eyes so that's what the chicken scratch is on the paper eye placements. lol.
Cheeks and a brow have been added! I gotta do some trimming on the edges and such still but it's getting there. 😭 I think I am gonna adjust the bridge of the nose as it seeems too thick.
Next up is a pickable nose with an NFC tag in it. :3 I made a little website the tag directs to so there's refs and stuff of Coyote. As well as a way to contact me if the head gets lost.

I was gonna start ordering fur but they sold out of neon orange so I decided to see what mango looks like along with the suggested tomato and merlot. c: I am going to have to have a big think on what orange combo I want to go with. The mango is closer to orange irl. It looks very yellow in photos so I am iffy on that one.
Mango was suggested by a fur color picker I found so I wanted to see it in person.
Merlot I am going with for sure for stripes. I love it with the oranges.

Been going through it mental health-wise lately. Depression has me in a chokehold.
Decided to do a Gnollvember drawing of my fursona to kickstart myself back into drawing stuff again. :)
