I think trans men deserve to talk about their experiences and get to use their own terms to do so
I also think we should be listening to trans men and take them serious when they're sharing their struggles
I think we need to be more respectful and kinder towards trans men

happy pride month.
in new zealand, our evil government are trying to legislate definitions of women and men, in ways that are legally incoherent but clearly trying to pave the way for more horrifically transphobic legislation. we have an election in a few months but our main opposition party, and all our mainstream news media, are so spineless and cooked that there's a good chance the ghouls will win reelection.
it took 2 whole months for local terf group 'speak up for women' to get 2,000 signatures on the petition that led to this new bill in our parliament.
it's taken five days for this pro-trans 'they don't speak for us' petition to get 17,000 signatures.
this is a show of support that is really heartening for a lot of trans people in our corner of the world.
cis/ish women, if you're from here but haven't signed yet, please do. and if you're not from here and you know any new zealanders, could you send them this petition? a full fifth of our population lives overseas, and there's a good chance they don't follow the news.

UPDATE: EMERGENCY PLEASE READ!!
The hotel we had reservation in told us to check out and we asked why, but they're not giving us a reason. They aren't telling us why and they said because of something a year ago???? We don't know what that means so now we got to leave.
I told them I'm in treatment right now because I have respiratory issues, but they said they don't care and told us to leave.
I am not fit to move stuff and we are on the top floor too. I'm stressed and if I even try to move our stuff I will collapse and have another asthma attack. I'm stressed as hell already and the manager of the hotel isnt making it easier. That and my mom's phone got hacked?? I have no idea what's going on and in this close THIS CLOSE!! I JUST WANT ONE GOOD DAY!!! I will keep you guys updated because we have nowhere to go, no hotel will take us.
So please for my health and life keep donating and sharing my gofundme because my life is at stake now. This is serious, very serious. I can die from this because of stress and my asthma.

UPDATE: Thanks to Chassie @classychassiss (She helped find a shelter 💜💜💜💜) we called a homeless service close by and hopefully they will call us back. They haven't yet but if they reply they can come pick up me and my mom, that is if they pick up and come get us.
Right now me and my mom went to hang out in a gym to shower and relax, we can't stay in it but the people were nice to let us wash up. Other than that we have to sleep outside. I did get my medication thank goodness and my breathing is evening out! That's good! I'm able to breathe freely and sleep. Thank you everyone to help me survive this, if it wasn't for you guys I would've been in the hospital or worse.
Just right now we need food since we had to get rid of even more of our belongings, we have less things to take with us now.
Please help so I can have something to eat tonight from my stressful day, thank you 💜

given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that

My health is getting worse and my asthma attack this morning proves it. I also have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an ongoing, progressive lung condition that restricts airflow, making it hard to breathe. And I have no way to get to a Lyft to go to urgent care. I'm wheezing and coughing up mucus and blood.
This is serious and I'm afraid my life will be on the line if I can't take care of it admittedly, it's really scary and I don't want anymore harm to me, or worse. It's even hard to sleep without wheezing.

ive been coughing none stop and having hard times sleeping because of the tightness in my chest, I don't want to have another panic attack/stroke again this year 😭 I found my inhaler so I might try and get a refill so I don't wheeze at night.
Update: I had an asthma attack this morning and I'm in a lot of pain, the left side of my chest feels like a heavy pressure. It's hard to breathe.
I did let my mom make a virtual appointment for me to talk to my doctor so I can get prescribed antibiotics, but right now it's hard to move.

i was also prescribed my medication today! That's good at least so I can take it and breathe again. I just hope I have enough to buy it! All together all 5 medications are about $30!!! Paypal I need them to survive!

I know intersex people are still getting excluded in a lot of LGBTQIA+ spaces (let alone wider society) and I think it's crucial to show this group is included in the statement that we all deserve equal rights.
