Hey Y’all! It’s that time of the year where I crawl out of my cave and make a post about shit no one cares about. But if you’re still reading, I do have some updates!
I’ve made 2 new blogs! One is for my complete works (my main art blog) and the other one is a side blog for doodles and sketches and the like.
Please feel free to follow them (and stroke my ego in the process). I haven’t posted anything new yet (just reblogs and reposts though not a complete list out of convenience and maybe a tad bit of embarassment). I’ll be posting new content (hopefully) by next Sunday (new is relative; it’s all stuff from this year that I haven’t had time to set up for posting). I’m also taking Noah Bradley’s Art Camp lectures and I’ll be posting my progress on that as well!
Ok, my skin is starting to burn, PEACE.
Nasa, if aliens arn’t real then explain this.

life imitates art and vice versa
The reason it reminds you of a Renaissance paintings is because of how the people’s gestures and gazes direct your eye between each other and ultimately toward the central motif of the Beib getting choked.
It’s also the colour scheme and the lighting. The deep red and the pale greens, the lighting so dark that some figures are obscured but the others stand out with brighter lighting. Even the circular pattern in the back references halos or other decorative features meant to draw attention. 10/10 good Renaissance art.
And I enjoy the subject matter too.
And some of the hoodies and T shirts look like robes at first glance…?
The poor quality mimics the sfumato developed by Da Vinci that makes everything look soft and blended. Additionally, Bieber plays the focal point of the painting, much like many Renaissance paintings such as Jesus, at the Last Supper. All points lead up to him and draw in lines away from him

Skin tone swatches, for use as a resource.
Spudfuzz on Deviantart made the original resource, which I modified to be a bit more realistic. She gave me permission to post this.
☛These swatches, like all art resources, should be used as a “jumping off point!” All colours are relative, and change with lighting conditions. As they are now, these swatches work best for adoptables, character lineups, and other art where local colour is important. ☚

Help us save a cat !
Hello guys !
This poor thing has been found in near Poitiers, France
As you can see, his paw is in a very bad condition, he needs an amputation; it will cost something like 200 euros. None of the associations/shelters here can pay for the surgery, and he will be euthanized the 6th of april if nobody pays.
So, every single euro I’ll receive for a commission (aside from the shipping fees) will be donated for his surgery.
My prices remain the same as usual:
