Well, thank you? And acting? I know it is always helpful to act but aren't acting and pretending the same thing? If everyone always acted then we wouldn't know who they really were on the inside..

*raises her eyebrows, pretending to be shocked before she chuckles* Well, you got my motives correctly *smirks and nods her head* I'm definitely going for the unseemly liaisons... You know me after all.... No, I wouldn't do such a thing. Perhaps you will, it would be nice.

It was Shrivelfig. Slughorn hid it from its usual place in the Potions Cupboard. *chuckles*  I was making some Elixir to Induce Euphoria because Slughorn asked me to make some for class. I don't really know why Slughorn wanted me to make it.

He returned a smile when she agreed with him, “It’s unfortunate, he could’ve totally went on about some other creatures.. I don’t know, dragons? Yea, dragons, he could’ve taught about the history of dragons and I would’ve gladly pay attention and even take notes or something about it.” Aware of her blushing but decided to keep quiet, he chuckled to himself, as they walk down the road.

He looked over to her as she asked about his hobbies. “Umm, y’know the usual stuff many kids our age like to do, hanging out, read a bit, a little drawing here and there. Nothing much. What about you? Somehow, I don’t think tormenting first years is part of the list.” He chuckled.

Annabel nodded and chuckled as Caradoc began speaking about dragons. "Dragons would have been a lot more interesting," she added, telling him her opinion on the matter. "And it would helpful to know what special abilities each dragon has too." Annabel did not really want to get into a sticky situation with a dragon involved and so she thought that it would be best to learn about how to defend oneself against a dragon. 

Silence softly fell in between them for a couple of minutes before Car began answering her question. She chuckled a little bit as he mentioned that tormenting first years was a hobby of his. "Drawing? Nice. I never have had the patience to sit and draw for hours and hours on end.." she admitted before chuckling a little more, "Well it is certainly not a hobby of mine either. I don't torment little first years. The boys in my house enjoy doing that; however, I don't understand why they do but each to their own, right? Well, I enjoy reading a good book once in a while, hanging out with friends, laughing, writing, swimming, and going to Honeydukes. Candy is my number one nemesis," she teased with a quick grin before shaking her head at how silly she must have sounded.  But she didn't care about how she looked because she had a feeling that Car wasn't like other people she knew. He was just... easy to hang out and Anna liked that.

Gentleman. [Quiet chuckle, slipping his fingers away as she stands] Plenty of people would disagree with that statement.

[Leads her towards the courtyard] So tell me, what do you intend to do with your secret places? [Glances across, wryly] I'll expect you to share, should we ever find ourselves desiring the same spot.

Well, you've acted like a gentleman in front of me. 

*walks with him out to the courtyard & smiles at his question* What do I intend to do? I don't know, I just want a place to relax and to hide away from silly drama and Slughorn. Of course, I'll share it. Your showing me the place after all and it would be wrong for me not to share with you...

I wish I could do that but Slughorn keeps finding me somehow and dumps more work onto my plate. *pouts before she begins to grin more* Perfect! I’m glad to hear that- perhaps you could pass some of your hiding wisdom on to me. You know what, I’d like that a lot. That would be absolutely wonderful.

Enthusiastic, aren't you? [His eyes trail her grin, his own lips inching into a smirk. Slowly stands, extending a hand to help her to her feet] What kind of place would you prefer? Indoors or out, dark or light?

Of course, I am! I find its better to be enthusiastic. *grins at him as she takes his hand and gets on to her feet* What a gentleman! Hmm, all of them? I think that probably outdoors would be useful to know but what if its raining? Let's go to the outdoors one first please, Rab.

Hm. Slughorn's assignments are currently buried in a drawer, where I can't see them. I have no inclination to attempt the wretched things. [Quiet laugh, a glint in his eyes] Hiding is my speciality. I'll show you a few places if you wish.

My mood is tolerable, thank you. [Faintly smirks] You usually smile. But smiling does not always equate with happiness. There is merely something different in your expression today.

Oh, you know… the usual. Avoiding meaningful study like the plague, as well as unwanted company. Why? Have you found some interesting way to fill your days?

Well that's good to hear. Tolerable moods are always better than furious ones. *laughs and meets his eyes* Oh there is? Well, I'm surprised that someone would actually notice that- thanks.  Hmm, I think its because I was able to go to Hogsmeade for a little while.

Avoiding study like the plague and unwanted company? Sounds like a handful. Oh, I was just wondering what you had been up to because I haven't been up to much actually thanks to Slughorn. He's been piling books up on my desks again and I have a huge pile right now so I think I may need to go into hiding to avoid him so I can have some fun! Know any good hiding places?

Well that's good to hear and you seem to be in a good mood as well?  *smiles* Unusually happy? How so? I thought I usually appeared happy. I guess I'm excited to just relax and have less homework. What have you been up to?

He rolled his eyes when teased about the gnomes, “ You have no idea. I don’t even know why he thought it’d be interesting at all. All I got from all that talk was pretty much ‘gnomes are useless’ so I have no idea how he could’ve gone on and on.” He sighed, he was never one that liked making people wait. He had always tried to be punctual, but he really couldn’t help it this time. Binns was really bad at keeping time, and often went over class time discussing about the most pointless things in life.

He grinned when she thanked him, “No problem, it’s no big deal, I’d much prefer head over to Hogsmeade with a friend rather than getting stuck with Binns. Wouldn’t anyone?” He chuckled at the sight of her. He swore that her eyes were gleaming at the thought of their trip. He could honestly say that this girl never fails to amuse him. He thought that it was pretty cute that she’s so excited about it.  “Let’s go already! The candies await!”

Anna grinned at him. "Yes, well, honestly, I don't think gnomes are particularly interesting either. And Binns likes to go over the top when teaching subjects," she added, giving him another understanding smile. 

The blonde Slytherin looked down, blushing ever so slightly, as he told her that he would rather to head to Hogsmeade than to stay with Binns. Yes, Annabel felt the exact same way. She would have preferred to have gone to Hogsmeade with anyone else other than the mean Snakes who called her names because she had been so nice. Anna's blue eyes sparkled as he exclaimed that they should head on the way. "Brilliant! Let's go!" exclaimed Anna as the two began to make their way out of the door and out onto the Hogsmeade grounds.

As she walked with Car, a complete stranger to her, Anna had decided that she would get to know him. "So what do you enjoy to do for fun?" she asked, beaming him a kind and excited smile.
