Narcissa was absolutely the most spoiled Black sister. The three of them pretty much received the same princess treatment from Cygnus and Druella, obviously. But Bellatrix and Andromeda were, respectively, physically and emotionally protective of each other and Narcissa. However, Narcissa never thought of her sisters as people needing her protection, especially Bella, so some things were always unfairly balanced between the three. And Narcissa realized this way too late.

“Ted!” Andromeda called out to him, Ted Tonks, the wizard who showed her that there was more to the world than jewels, stuffy parties, and soirées. That the world was vast and beautiful with so many new experiences. Like being soaked by the waves as he caught her, his own chest rumbling with laughter.

Andromeda’s voice wasn’t full of fear. Quite the opposite. It was full of excitement and joy. Something that no amount of Galleons and jewels could ever buy.

“I got you, Andy! Don’t worry!” Being in his arms was like being held in the most safest place in the entire world. Andromeda was sure of that.

And the way he was grinning at her, his eyes full of mischief and joy?

Andromeda would do it all over again, if he continued to look at her like that for the rest of their lives.

As children, Tonks and Bellatrix were so alike in personality that Andromeda was often visited by painful memories of her own happy childhood. She frequently wondered what her daughter’s life would have been like had her aunts been around. What kind of troubles Bellatrix might have dragged Tonks into, and how Narcissa would have loved having a niece to spoil, given that she had a son.

Because Andromeda was experiencing firsthand what her mother had felt raising Bellatrix, she also often thought about sending an owl to Druella asking for advice on how to handle Tonks. She never did it because she believed her mother would simply ignore her since they weren't on speaking terms. The sad truth is that, had Andromeda sent that owl, Druella would have replied instantly.

Druella would only let her babies sleep in cribs that look like this and always uses unnecessarily fancy shit for her girls she believes they can only have the best quality material and anything less isn’t good enough for them

Andromeda would be a bit more aware of her own incestuous thoughts about Bellatrix, but far more stuck on the taboo aspect of it to do anything. She loved Bella's possessiveness and devotion, which made her feel more than special. So when Bella's life started to revolve around Voldemort, Andromeda absolutely hated him for stealing her place and changing who her sister was. And, at first, I think that played a role in Andromeda getting closer to Ted and falling for him, sort of out of spite and to provoke a reaction out of Bellatrix, who was unfortunately too busy with Voldemort to even realize what Andromeda was doing.

I think canon Bella would have intense incestuous thoughts about Andromeda. Like, for her it would be almost like fucking herself, but better. I don't think anything happened between them, but the feelings were definitely buried somewhere deep in Bella's mind and it made her feel a lot of irrational jealousy and unreasonable possession, leading to a very, very love-hate relationship. Voldemort knew about this, of course, and would often tease her, but Bella never realized.
