The article I read was The Un-Selfie: Taking Back the Self-Portrait by Marie McGrory. This article made me rethink the meaning of the world selfie. Most people believe it to be a picture of ourselves and often in a positive and unrealistic way. I could be sitting in my pajamas the entire week but when Saturday comes and I get all dressed and pretty I am going to post a picture of myself dressed up and not in my pajamas. Marie believe many selfies do not show our uniqueness and we pretend to be things that we are not. 

Marie also believes that selfies are not just a picture of your face. Many of her photographs didn't even show the persons face at all. The pictures portrayed more of herself and her personality. She wanted to show the world her and others uniqueness.
