This is a fascinating piece about Canadian painting, Toronto history, urban architecture (and an architect). I wonder how many more houses painted by Harris, Albert Franck and others are still standing and identifiable.

She sings (in a “Russian” accent since her character is pretending to be an exiled countess), she dances...I love the giggles and grunts as they perform; supposedly it was one of the last of their numbers to be released with the original (not dubbed) sound.
