The gentle touch of the other didn’t deter her from pressing the small pendant into the other’s free hand. “It’s a charm,” Cheyenne said quietly. “Keep it on you for protection, or just to remember me by if you don’t believe in that sort of stuff.” The most important thing was that she believed in it.
“If you think you can leave me with just some...some trinket to remember you by, then you’re sorely mistaken,” Meredith manages to muster out, in a quiet breath, with the soft shake of her head, “I don’t want your protection-- I want you,” she insists gently, though she makes no move to return the charm, holding it gingerly in the palm of her hand, seemingly unsure whether to out-rightly refuse the gift or hold on to it tighter.

“thanks for looking after him, hope he wasn’t too much trouble.” he was referring to his one-year-old son that she looked after on the regular, one of the only people he trusted to look after him. money wasn’t an option when it came to his son and with the job he had, he could pay her whatever she needed, as long as she kept looking after him. “did he go down alright?” matthew had just finished a day at work, while his wife had returned to work a couple of weeks before, working night shifts so they didn’t have to rely too much on her. it was only a few hours a day that she was needed, but with his wife returning to work, they needed someone to look after him while she was sleeping. maybe it was because it had been so long since he’d had sex with his wife, but matthew couldn’t help but be drawn to the younger girl and he got the feeling she was exactly the same way. there was subtle touches here and there, a hand on the small of her back or a touch to his thigh, and he wondered whether she felt it between them too. on more than one occasion, he had thought about acting on it and he was getting to the point where he was tempted to just take what he wanted. “are you hanging out for a bit or do you need to go?”
“Truly, it’s no worries at all. Your son is so well behaved and is quite the sweetheart...he was a little fussy tonight, but he eventually tired out and now he’s in his crib sleeping soundly," Vera admits offering the man a warm smile, “After all, what kind of girl would I be if I didn’t help out my sister and brother-in-law when they needed me most?” As first year college student, she was already strapped for cash, so babysitting her older sister’s child for a couple of hours each day had become quite lucrative for her, not to mention, she quite enjoyed Matthew’s company (he was, after all, quite easy on the eyes). Vera would often wonder if the attraction was mutual, but Matthew was very much a married man (married to her sister, at that) and as much as she wanted to, was too scared to make the first move. “I don’t have class tomorrow, so I’d be happy to stay as long as you’d like me to...I would hate to intrude on your own time, though,” she adds, as she tucked a strand of her loose hair behind her ear, “Is there anything else you need me to do? You know I’m always happy to help you in any way that I can...”

Tessa had just about finished filing away the last of her boss’s items and was about to head home for the night, when she heard the door to her office open. Looking up at the man through her long lashes, a slight smirk appeared on her lips as the young assistant couldn’t help herself, “I finished your filing and your calendar is all set to go for tomorrow...is there anything else I can do for you before I leave? Anything at all?” she asks, her voice laced with intent.

yo but like … what about a trophy husband?? or just a boyfriend, idc. nothing manipulative or toxic in any way, he’s just spoiled by his girl (or boy) and she loves to buy him stuff so he’ll look fancy because then she can show him off to all her friends and colleagues. she’s definitely the more dominant in the relationship, but in the bedroom it’s pretty equal, she secretly loves it when he takes control. sometimes. while she’s all about her career he’s more interested in the new furniture he bought for their patio.

ok but someone give me that cute bartender storyline though? like this guy tends bar at a restaurant or a pub or something and always sees this cute girl hanging out there, but she’s always either with friends or with some guy so he never really gets the time to talk to her BUT ONE DAY she walks into the place alone and orders so many drinks until she’s so bloody drunk, screaming about how her boyfriend cheated on her, that the bartender had to bring her home himself. she wakes up with a horrible hangover, stumbles out the room to find the bartender cooking breakfast and rolling his eyes, laughing. “first of all, you’re an idiot. second, we didn’t have sex if that’s what you’re wondering. third, breakfast will be ready soon. sit.” and fluff commences HELP PLZ
okay so when is someone gonna give me a ship where’s its a professional athlete (probs football) and an actress/singer and they’re dating or maybe married but they’re total goals and so supportive of each others careers and are constantly posting about each other on social media and they might not always be able to be together but she goes to his games when she’s around and looks super cute in his jersey and he’s always going to her premieres/concerts and i just need celebrity power couples
here’s a plot… muse a is a rlly powerful criminal. he basically has the world under their thumb. he’s killed lots of people (or at least ordered a lot of people to be killed) and he’s made a LOT of money this way. muse b, meanwhile, is a relatively ordinary person – she’s the girl next door. through a turn of events, the two meet and begin a fling. (muse a may or may not have a spouse at home, but that’s neither here nor there.) muse b knows muse a is a criminal – everyone does – but she enjoys the rush and the excitement.
one day, though, muse b finds out she’s pregnant. and she realizes that muse a is not a suitable father for her baby. he’s too dangerous. death and destruction follows him everywhere he goes, and, as much as she cares about him, she knows he’s not exactly a good person. so she gives it to him straight: she’s going to end their relationship, move, and raise their child alone, and muse a is going to stay away. muse a truly loves muse b, so he agrees to her terms, and does her one better: he’ll send money to help raise the kid, and even pay for her new home.
fast forward some years. muse b is settled into her new life with her child, and muse a has stuck to his promises. at least until one day, he shows up on her doorstep. he has several armed guards, and a car ready to go.
“grab our kid and get in the car,” he says. “someone found out, and my enemies are after the two of you.”
another thing i want: the police chief’s worrisome daughter that is always coming to check on him at the station falling for the headstrong detective who always gives the chief hell
