HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT AWAKE
(coming from a procrastinator that often gets bored during attempts and STILL shifts anyway)
HI SHIFTBLR! I'm back with a big post.
So, I've been on tiktok lately and i've been seeing a lot a lot a LOT of people talking about how to awake shift and it really inspired me to speak on my experience because i don't really see that many people share their awake shifting experiences in detail.
Just for context, I use my own method to awake shift. It's fairly easy. All it takes is patience and some free time, that's all.
There's this girl on tiktok named Kas who PERFECTLY encapsulated my METHOD but in way better words. She defined shifting as DISCONNECTION, IDENTIFICATION, AND RECONNECTION! That is exactly it! Most people get stuck on Disconnection and give up. I often get really bored before this part but trust me that's just your ego trying to stop you! Don't ever listen! You could live your dream life rn babes why would you quit?!?
So, THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT WHILE AWAKE:
I meditate by breathing in like 2-5 times, sometimes i do it for longer but i find that if i do it for too long, i end up falling asleep. This step is important but it shouldn't be overdone because your body isn't even needed to shift.
i immediately start on DISCONNECTION. I tell myself "I am disconnected from my current reality. I am not this body / vessel" until i start to feel a little floaty.
After feeling floaty, i'm still feeling connected to my CR but i kinda ignore it and just skip straight to connecting to my DR SELF via identity affirmations.
Usually at this point i start to visualize where i'll wake up and sometimes i get so deep in it that i dont even have to do CONNECTION because i'll start hearing stuff from my DR or feeling stuff. Like if i'm petting my cat, i'll subtly feel her fur but like in my CR if that makes sense?? It's like i can FEEL it as my DR self but my CR self is feeling the sensations. I actually hate this because it feels like a game of cat n fucking mouse. Like whats the point of that "phantom" ass feeling? Just shift and feel it for real lmaoo!!
I'm going to try to explain this as best i can: When I shift while awake, it's lik the reality fades in. Like, I'm in my CR doing affs, and then all of a sudden i'm in my DR. . . there is no distinction of travel between the two. i'm just here one moment and then the next im in my DR. I can never predict the exact moment because it just happens and im not even really paying attention when it does. I just notice that i'm there, yk?
lately i've been getting bored after the feelings stop, so i just kinda give up :/ but i still hear stuff from my DR so i count that as a partial shift, aka shifting regardless!!!
thank ya for reading and prepare to hear me talk about this again as i continue to shift later today :) feel free to hit my ask box with questions!!!!!
How are you currently shifting? Which method, etc.
i intend to shift, visualise a little, go to sleep at night, and wake up in my dr.
How it'll feel to open my phone in my DR for the first time to see pictures/texts of my DR life before even seeing people there :
(First thing I do when I shift is checking pictures of me with my family, friends or s/o on my bedroom's walls and phone)
༄˖°.🐞.ೃ࿔*:・
shifting method for lazy and loud minds.
this method is very simple. it's for people who don't feel like organizing a whole method or putting in a lot of effort(because you don't need to), and people who have very messy brains that are always thinking and never shut up. it's all about affirming and optionally visualizing. step 1 : get comfy. lay down, go to bed, do it awake, eyes opened, idc. whatever position works best for you. step 2 : start affirming. "holy shit i'm in my DR!! this is crazy i actually shifted, oh my goody goodness this is for real!!!" exactly like that, i'm not kidding literally just go crazy with it. step 3 : Now as your affirm, start to throw in what is currently happening in your DR, you can visualise as well, but you don't have to! if your shifting to an mha DR for example "holy moly i'm recieving my first tailored hero suit!!! holy moly i'm getting ready for training!! blah blah whatever you want" and now just do that till you shift or whatever, you can also do this for reaching the void state or any other state you want if you so please! this method helps me a lot as someone who has a LOT of thoughts, my own thoughts overlap sometimes and doubts, getting sidetracked, etc can be a big problem for me. this method helps a lot, if you're thoughts are loud, you just have to be louder, yknow. so yeah. have fun shifting!
Before I went to sleep last night I read a post about how counting numbers as a method is probably the easiest thing to get into the void/ your dr because right when you lose track of what number your on and you’re aware you’re getting confused THATS the best moment to shift. You’re right on that edge of being awake but already on the verge of falling asleep and your brain isn’t resisting.
I tried this last night and tell me why I had the most vivid lucid dream and I think for a moment I actually shifted because everything was literally in HD and I could control what I was doing. But I was wayyyy too tired last night to actually follow through with the shift so I just went to sleep.
Pls try it because it’s the most low effort but high reward method you could do (in my humble opinion)
HOW I ENTER A PURE AWARENESS STATE IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES
HELLOOOOOOOOO AGAIN!!! been a couple days since my last post . . . i've been chilling lately, just trying to let my brain reset a bit after my last shift. I shifted from a lucid dream but when i woke up i had the most insane, debilitating headache for some reason. It like really turned me off from shifting again for like a week. Anyway, I'm back shifting again !!
I've been trying more and more with my method, letting myself enjoy the moment and have patience with my body during meditations. It works every time, what can i say? I always have a good experience when i just sit back and relax.
Because of this i think that i'm just done with all the other methods i like to do lol. They work okay i guess but this method is the easiest and most relaxing for me (which is why its called the super duper easy method LMAO). I used to not be able to meditate or even shift using intention. It took me 5 years to get here, and honestly I'm not mad about it ! I learned some lessons here and there. I'm saying all this to tell you that even if you think you're failing or incapable of a certain method, it's not necessarily true. You can't fail to shift. You can shift but not end up in a place you like, sure, but you can't fail. You can only teach yourself / your Awareness to wake up in a place you like, using any method. Remember: patience is always key.
JUST SO YOU KNOW: Awareness is everything and doesn’t need any mental conditions or physical yada yada to be awareness. You don't need to meditate, but if it makes your thoughts quieten and create less resistance from your EGO, then its highly recommended. :) This post is for those who like to meditate and end up in altered states of consciousness.
. ⋆ 𖥔 ݁ ˖₊‧.⭒.‧₊˖ ݁𖥔 ݁˖ .
For a percentage of shifters, altered states are the key to everything. States tend to help for those of us who have racing thoughts and doubts that hinder our journey when we feed into them. When you get into an altered state, you're less connected to your brain and therefore your ego, which only exists in your brain. From an altered state it's very easy to shift. It may take some a while your first time around but that shouldn't matter because time doesn't even exist and you shouldn't care anyway. I sure don't. Just make sure you pick a time when you're "free" and can just chill for a while.
Getting into an altered state may feel like a total fail at first. You get into your comfy position, start meditating and are immediately hit with doubts. This an amazing post that explains it very well. The person who wrote that is literally a f*cking god. I recommend you read that before you read this because that is the post that truly opened my eyes to how easy awake shifting is.
Anyhoo, at this point you should know all about the encounter stage and how to get past it. I'm not here to explain that because you hopefully read the post. What I will tell you is what to do after that, and what typically happens for me.
After about 18 minutes and 9 seconds (yes, i've counted), my mind gets extremely fuzzy and i immediately start heading in tons of different OBE directions. Just now before I made this post, I randomly got the idea to Astral Project despite never doing it before. I imagined myself out of my body, doing astral things i guess and then i literally felt my Spirit(?) begin to JUMP out of my body. It felt very weird but i didnt do it fully because my heart isn't in it all that much. Then, I started shifting. This happens very quickly for me but can either go right or wrong because I always shift with one or two senses before the rest, so it sucks because i can still feel my ego while simultaneously feeling a whole different person in another reality. This won't happen to everyone. I feel like it only happens to me because I may have an attachment to my CR.. idk.
You'll know when you get to the Point of No Return (sounds scary but its not trust me lol). Your doubts will be quiet and the only thing that will prevail is your affirmations and your want to shift. It'll feel like your shifting voice is much much louder than your doubting voice, which is good because you're right there on the edge!!! At this point all you have to do is keep up with assuming whatever it is you want to do. Typically, I affirm "I am pure awareness" until i start rolling around in a pit of darkness. I just end up completely detached from my body and surroundings and just exist within the Void. Or, I end up doing 5 senses until i start blinking through my DR self... and then yea! Thats all!!!
If you don't shift to your DR this time, that's fine. You can stop at any time. As long as you know that you will improve at this and keep consistency, then you'll awake shift in no time ! i literally taught myself this after 5 years of hoping and begging for results. I had no clue what i was doing. If i can do it, you can do it way faster.
go shift!!!!!
How did u use loa to shift on command? I been working on this and ik other people that also manifested this, but how exactly?
hii! I actually recommend checking out the full post I wrote about how I started mastering the Law of Assumption and shifting (honestly I feel like they're the exact same thing anyway!).
But to answer you directly: I shift on command now simply because I know my intention is enough. I don’t overthink it anymore. I just assume that if I say I’m waking up in my dr, then that’s it.
If you want to get to this point, here is my best advice:
Start assuming right now that you already are someone who can shift on command. Pick whatever method feels most fun or comfortable for you or honestly, just make the decision, you don't even have to use a method if you don't want to. They all work anyway, because the power is in you, not the technique. Most importantly, stay grounded in the present. Don't exhaust yourself constantly checking the 3D for signs or proof. Just persist in knowing you already shift on command.
Hope this helps !
Hi!!
I hope you’re day is going well, I had a question, what does your follow through look like? My biggest problem with shifting is that I believe it, and I prep my mind all day to believe it, but when i finally get in bed and lie down, my mind goes blank, and I start stalling till I fall asleep and wake up here. I do feel it’s partially cuz I’m perma shifting, but I don’t know what to do other than that
What some of you have been waiting for … Jade’s shifting routine. ི ✿ ⁺
step one: turn on some music.
it doesn’t have to be specifically something that reminds you of your desired reality, but it helps.
Calming music is the best!
I typically make a playlist for every reality or I listen to specific albums that remind me of that place I’m going to. For instance, I have a playlist that I made for my stranger things reality. I turned that on Thursday night so I could shift there.
step two: start scripting.
Typically this is a timeframe where I read over my (very boring and not detailed) script. However, I add things here and there as well.
“Jade do you have a safety script?”
In all honesty, no…I script [mentally] that I can’t die and I’m always safe. Is that not enough? Anyway, I digress.
That was an example of how not detailed my scripts are.
step three: meditate.
You don’t need to meditate, but I always recommend it for your wellbeing. Calm your mind. It costs nothing.
I know everyone has been against meditation, but I can’t live without it. It’s honestly something crucial for me. It’s what I do in life in general.
I view reality shifting as meditation. Calling my shifts “meditations” has helped me a lot.
What I do to meditate is count to 10 in sets of 10, which totals to 100. I count verbally. I just breathe in and out like normal or I’ll use a breathing technique I learned in high school choir. I think it’s called box breathing.
step four: start affirming.
I use many affirmations, but my main affirmations are these:
I am in my desired reality because I just am.
Shifting is something I just do.
I am shifting because I said so.
There’s many more, but these are just from the dome. Feel free to ask for more in the comments!
After affirming, I pretty much shift or fall asleep after that. That’s about it. I’m not big on methods — I hate methods.
Hihi !! What's up hana? 🙆♀️ I have 1 question for you.. kinda, its a question with subunits 😅. Do you use safewords? And if you do, what's the transition between using them? Do you just say it and "pop" back into awarness here? Is it like being softly placed back unto your body or do you feel like you just got off a Rollercoaster? TELL US YO 😝
heyy!!
so, i don’t use a safe word to shift back! i just set the intention to shift back to my cr at night in bed, and then i wake up in my cr the next morning.
so there isn’t really any transitional stage or any feeling at all really, i just… wake up like i always do and i’m back in my cr!!
i always feel super groggy the next morning though, and i’m awake for only a few seconds before going immediately back to sleep LOL.
Remember who you are, Reality Shifter.
"What method should I use?" "How do I shift?" "Why isn't it working?" "I don't know what to do." "I've tried everything :("
"I'll do whatever the fuck I want and I'll shift anyways."
ᵂʰᵉⁿᵉᵛᵉʳ ᵃ ˢʰⁱᶠᵗᵉʳ ʳᵉᵃˡⁱˢᵉˢ ᵗʰᵉʸ ʰᵒˡᵈ ᵃˡˡ ᵗʰᵉ ᵖᵒʷᵉʳ ᵃⁿ ᵃⁿᵍᵉˡ ˡᵉᵃʳⁿˢ ʰᵒʷ ᵗᵒ ᵘˢᵉ ⁱᵗˢ ʷⁱⁿᵍˢ.
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩, 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠.
things that will not stop you from shifting:
not believing in it
other people not believing in it
a mean comment from an anti on tiktok
having doubts
not making a script
having an overly extensive, thorough script
getting too excited
not feeling any excitement
not understanding shifting
not being “knowledgable enough” about shifting
knowing “too much” about shifting
struggling with mental health
struggling with physical health
loving your cr
hating your cr
literally anything in your cr
anything to do with ego
daydreaming a lot
romanticizing your dr
someone else shifting for your s/o
messing up when doing a method
not doing a method at all
not setting intention (accidental shifts are very real)
being “too early” in your journey
being “too late” in your journey
anything to do with time. because time isn’t real
growing resentment toward shifting
the number of times you tried but didn’t successfully shift (it only has to work once)
giving up
i could go on & onnnnnnn because the bottom line is. there is no world where it will never happen because it’s happening to everyone. nothing can stop you because shifting is inevitable ☆゚・
I’ve shifted:
after my wisdom tooth surgery when I was tired and in pain
after I fell and almost fainted
to my ATLA DR after I told myself I wasn’t going to make script for it or focus on that reality anymore
to realities I had a script for
to realities I didn’t have a script for
when I considered giving up and taking another shifting break
when I wasn’t sure what reality to focus on
when I was just taking a quick nap
when I was on a shifting break
when I was fasting
when I had work the next day
when I didn’t have work the next day
when I was anxious and depressed
when I was nauseous and had a headache
when I was happy and excited
when I was calm
when I had a lot of sleep
when I had no sleep
using a lucid dream
not using a lucid dream
I’m sure there are more instances that I’m forgetting, but the point is you can shift regardless of your mental, physical, and emotional state!!!
All it takes is intention and alignment (sometimes you don’t even need intention)!
Ways I’ve shifted that aren’t your typical method
~was daydreaming about me and him doing it and shifted right in the middle of us doing it.
~ craving some soup real bad and shifted to my waiting room to eat said soup
~sitting in the shower and starting thinking about him and shifted
~ (my funniest one) I was in Walmart and was upset they were out of my chips there and shifted to a version of that reality were the chips were there
~ first time I shifted to fnaf I simply fell asleep thinking about the animatronics.
~ I wondered what it would be like to be an actual fox and shifted to a forest where I was a fox (it was amazing will be doing it again)
~asked my man to take me to a reality of his choosing, shifted to a version of the medieval AU of MHA.
~ I wanted a high grade on an assignment but didnt study, I got a A.
~imagined I was being held in my man’s arms and ended up shifting to my waiting room
~ I was so physically and emotionally tired that I shifted to my waiting room just to sleep for a few months
~didn’t want to do schoolwork here so I shifted to my first Mha Dr for like a year and came back here when school was over.
~I was really upset I couldn’t ever go to a concert here due to my disabilities and ended up shifting to a reality where I was singer that night.
~im pretty sure I shifted/manifested my therapist. My previous therapist was utter shit and I wanted one who understood me. About a few months later I meet my current therapist who is pagan and knows what shifting is. Truly she is amazing
~I was meditating one night and wondered what it would be like to be a star, like an actual star in the sky, and shifted to be a star. It was so cool
~sequel to the last one, I then wondered what it would be like to stare at all my drs as it’s own universe. I was looking down at all my drs as its own galaxy and could hold it in my hands. It helped me get comfortable with the idea that I am in control
You truly can shift in any way you’d like. Your method to shift is just as limitless as you. <333
I’ve always said it, and I’ll never stop saying it: treat your current reality with the same lightness you treat your dreams.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬?
Because you were taught not to.
There is no real difference between what we consider the world of dreams and this reality presented as the epitome of truth; the line that supposedly separates them is imaginary, imposed, and optional. In dreams we experience practically the same things; it is when we wake up that we dismiss what happened. The only thing dreams lack is the linearity of events, the continuity of occurrences, in short, what gives structure to our daily lives, and that does not make them an unreal experience; they simply do not align with the structure we have chosen to give to life, with the structure we have learned to give to life. In fact, the randomness of dreams represents the purest nature of our ever-shifting consciousness.
It is time for us to stop viewing this reality as if it were made of concrete, as if it were so far from change and the flow of consciousness. Shifting is easy; it’s our perspective on reality that holds us back.
Shortcuts for shifting if you're in a rush 💋
Sleep paralysis -> if you get it, don't open your eyes. Disclaimer, SP isn't scary it just becomes scary if you panic and think of scary stuff. You don't have to, you're in control. This is the perfect mind asleep body awake (MABA) situation and close your eyes, affirm being in your DR and you'll wake up there.
Void -> this is also similar to SP but you intentionally put yourself to void where you're pure consciousness, and thus you can manifest instantly. Whatever you say happens in light speed so it's like an Aladdin's genie. To get into void, simply lay down, meditate, affirm you're in void. If you search for void affirmations, you will find lots of helpful content made by other bloggers.
Lucid dreaming -> this is also the state we wanna achieve. Do you see a pattern? Again, our body's fully asleep while our mind is wide awake. If you find yourself in a LD, simply affirm waking up in your Dr and you should be there.
That's all I can think of now, what do y'all think? Btw don't forget shifting was made up SO SO complex because tiktokers needed content and clout. Shifting is literally so easy, do these and you'll shift.
just shifted through a lucid dream whats up youtututube
𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐔𝐍 !!
(aka my method from that post from a billion years ago)
Before I start I just want to say SORRY FOR BEING SO INACTIVE, I am ashamed to say that I went on hiatus with Manon from Katseye </3
ALSO: Thank you so much @wishiedishie22 for being super patient and motivating me to post ! ilyyy

First, let me debunk something that a little mosquito has been buzzing in my ear.
"𝑰𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒖𝒏, 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒑𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍!"
NOPE! Personally, there are a lot of "normal" things that I still think are fun! Like music, for example! I LOVE listening to music but its still a normal part of my day!
𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱 !!

Do you need anything?

Did I want to use something?
𝒀𝑬𝑺
So, I'm a music addict and I need music to perform the most BASIC tasks (no, i don't need it, but you know what I mean) including shifting, so lets talk about the playlist!!
I shift awake.
It's just more fun for me ! (𝙸 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚕 𝚒𝚜 𝚟𝚒𝚘𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚕𝚢 𝚋𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚍 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚖𝚢 𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢)
Anyways, I decided that for my "method", I would just vibe. So instead of calm playlist, I got my hypest playlist full of gay ass songs and charli xcx ofc!
(𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘁𝘁𝘁: gay vibe - playlist by jewell ꔫ | Spotify)
Then, I sat down and honestly just danced and sang along to my playlist.
"𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕?"
I thought about vibing to my playlist in my Waiting Room. That's it.
"𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆?"
Girl, I have no clue 🥹 I was literally just focused on having a good time.
As I was imagining feeling myself on the Waiting Room bed, I saw a bright ass light. At first, I thought that my time had come and I was going to heaven, but then I realized.... there's no damn way I could get into heaven, so that obviously wasn't the case...
The light faded and at this point, my eyes were twitching like crazy.
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅... and I wasn't in my bedroom.
I was in my waiting room!!
As I said before, I didn't stay for long, as I was honestly very surprised, but nevertheless, I SHIFTED!!
And I didn't use a crazy method, or count to 10000, or ANYTHING. I just vibed and visuallized. So....? Why can't you??
(sᴘᴏɪʟᴇʀ ᴀʟᴇʀᴛ: ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ)
The main point is: do whatever tf you want to shift!
𝚰𝐓𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝚰𝐓𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐋𝚰𝐅𝐄!!

And last, but not least...and once again:
@wishiedishie22 AGAIN for your amazing motivation and just for being the coolest ever <3
