“I don’t think you’d enjoy my type of getaway, Ryuko.” Satsuki sighed. The time away seemed to have calmed her down a bit, but it was only a matter of time before her harsh exterior reformed. “But I’ll remember to extend the offer next time.”
“Hah, what, traveling to scenic vistas staring dramatically with your sword posed?” Ryuko snickered. Then she was quiet and looked away. “Well, I’m glad your back, Mako’s been worried about ya and stuff…” Ryuko was totally still adjusting to the way things are now.
“I’ll have you know, my days off are usually much more than that.” Satsuki smiled weakly at her younger sister. “Mako? Why would Mankanshoku be worried about me?”
Ryuko flushed still looking away. "Tch, h..how should I know? Maybe you grew on her or somethin'. Girl's a damn puzzle. Not like I was worried either when you just disappeared without saying goodbye or anything."
