i finally watched the extra / deleted scenes for crimes of grindelwald and i’m just... really upset. given how much better they could have made credence’s development but i’m honestly not surprised, but glad i have it even if it isn’t ‘fully’ in the film.   i miss writing my sad boy.  a lot.

         As I look back upon my life, it’s always with a sense of shame. I’ve always been the one to blame… It’s a sin.  Everything I’ve ever done, everything I ever do, everywhere I’m going to, it’s a sin! ah! so he's back! there's a soft snuffle as the niffler noses the boy's hand, using his little snout to push it up just enough to wriggle his way underneath. once satisfied of his current situation, warm hand on top, he looks expectantly at the other. chrrk! a thump thump of his tail! he would like some good pettins and scritchins please. he has been a good niffler. promise! he digs out a chocolate gold coin from his pouch. see! he didn't even have to borrow this one indefinitely.

      the noise to his right is enough to startle,  but credence is left blinking at the creature as it forces itself into the position that it wishes to be in.  he blinks,  once,  twice,  before the start of a smile curls up the corners of his mouth.  bright.  amused.  pleased.  it has been a while,  hasn’t it?     “what’s this?”     he asks, voice quiet,  barely above a whisper,  as he looks at the coin in the niffler’s hand. interest is far more intense than he wants it to be,  but credence allows himself to indulge despite himself.     “for me?”

i have finally finished my uni project and i break up for the holidays from friday. idk if i’ll come back on this blog properly. i don’t feel like my credence fits into this fandom anymore nor do i feel like i have anyone has any real interest with writing with me on here or with my interpretation of credence bc it’s not cut in the way people expect / want it to be so who knows
