Hello hello! Anomaly coming back from the ded. First of all I want to thank you for your patience… I know it took a while to post this. My summer got really busy all of a sudden and Instagram has been hiding some of your entries. Anyway let's get started! For these challenges I like to count with my friends to help me choose the winners, because if it was only me………… I'd give prizes to everyone (which it's kinda funny this time). Last time I held a DTIYS challenge, we fought a little to choose the winners, but this time our braincells connected via wi-fi for the first two prizes, not for the last one.

First prize goes to @arizaluca Loved how everyone look in your style, especially my high priestess! She looks amazing in your style and the reflections and effects? Chef kiss!

Second prize goes to @2dyara In your case, THEY ALL LOOK ADORABLE. The perspective look amazing and my high priestess? HER THREATENING AURA?????? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!

We couldn't choose only one. Loved how everyone took some extra steps and added their one ideas: Lamb and Goat with their red/purple crying eyes, Narinder with his red eyes… The traditional pieces surprised us as well! Their quality got really close to the digital entries and I particularly love Emarald15's entry! I found really interesting the idea of working on your piece on different two sheets of a sketchbook. I know that drawing reflections can be a bit challenging so how you handled it amazed me! I love to see how ingenious younger artists can be, and that's why I make these challenges a bit… well, challenging, because I know you will come with interesting solutions and results!

Now, I must give a warning… As I said before, I'm a bit busy right now and I might be a bit slow finishing everyone's prizes, so please, be patient!

After a while here is my entry for @anomaly-art’s DTIYS! Due to my method of drawing atm, drawing the proper reflection isn’t within my scope, nor have the space, so I came up with this idea! Hopefully this still works for the contest, but was fun to try even if not!

It was really tricky with the perspective, but was really fun to work on! I think it really pushed my skill level!

Hello! A quick introduction... These are my characters from an original story/project! By now, the project is in its early stages but I really needed to relax a bit from work and do something for myself. I hope you like it!

Greetings! I'm here with a post that made me stop scrolling and reminded me of an important matter: taking breaks. Take a second to breathe… Thank yourself for doing that because we live in a world of constant fluxuation, and it is important to take that second to breathe. As you may tell, this artwork came to me at the right moment, and it accomplished the task of slowing down the viewer with simple tricks.

Firstly, the movement, animation, and changes in animation are simple yet effective, with five moving parts: Shamura's legs, knitting, yarn, Shamura's eyes, and the text. It's small, but noticeable. These animations are meant to be casual, as a way of making the viewer stop to comprehend the movement, such as the blinking of the eyes. Shamura plays the role of a moving stimulus, and the contrast with the Goat is comedy.

Secondly, the contrast between the two is important. The way the Goat sleeps with their mouth open, a hint of a blush, and blankness inside their head is marvellous. Shamura works away. However, we as the viewer should be partaking in what the Goat is doing, stopping to rest our eyes for a brief second or an hour. Please, check the animation in the source!

Thirdly, the message is vital. Yes, Shamura's animations are the hook, but the Goat and the message above are what the viewer stays for. Or I did. It's a clear message, which is bound to make you act accordingly, as long as you let it sink in. And it helps that the text moves like a wave, something that we can associate with the coastal beaches.

Additionally, if you wish to deepen your break, please consider doing one of the following. Why wouldn't you close your eyes for a minute and listen to the surrounding environment? Hehe Helloooo! You know? This made my day. I've always believed everyone can have an impact in others' lives, big or small, intentional or not. What we say, what we do, what we draw and what we post can improve or worsen someone's day and/or inspire others. Even if it's just a small comment like "you look good in that outfit" or something like that. It may sound silly but who knows how many days we've accidentally brightened… You proved my point! Many times our mood have improved thanks to someone else's small action but we usually don't say it. Thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts with everyone!
