i never understood why couple kissed in public.

Not because i thought it was shameful or that they should hide.

I just never understood how weird it must feel, to do it where people can see them, to be watched, wouldn't it feel more comfortable to kiss in private?

i get it now.

When they kiss in public, its not with the intention of being observed. They're stuck in their own world, where they're the only ones there, together and in love. Some people just happen to see.
