Destiny 3 could be one of the craziest games to pop out of the market. With where 2 left off, it’d be like an Avengers: Endgame (I hate to make that comparison but it’s the only thing I could come up with) level culmination of everything that’s happened.

It’s actually a new era. So many allies, so many honed abilities. So much yet to explore. Except that this would be the last Destiny, surely. It’s like we have mainly everything we need to go into a final battle EVENTUALLY, expect becoming a fully realized Weapon of The Nine. Wait I actually want to go into a little bit of detail:

I was going to say that you could now play as Eliksni and Barant, but that’s a little complicated on both sides. Maybe you can have a personal fireteam where you can recruit certain ALLIES LIKE THE GANGS ON THARSIS. Vex, Barant, Eliknsi!! Eventually some Hive and even some Dread if they decide that for themselves.

I think at this point, Transcendence can go across all subclasses. Idk, it would be a little weird and limiting, but it’s a new game, so you need a fresh start. You’d start off with one subclass and go throughout the whole game learning/relearning your other ones. Then unlock Transcendence as innate ability across all classes. Also, I heard interacting with The Nine in such a way would have changed the way we used our powers totally, so maybe that can play into it.

Thats all I have rn, but what do you think Destiny 3 would be like. Locations, combatant evolution, Saint and Osiris Exodus adventures??

i'm so insane about Tucker and Caboose's relationship, guys, driving myself crazy about Tucker and Caboose, hello, can anyone hear me. remember in the early seasons when the six core characters had almost parallel dynamics in that Grif and Simmons got along fine unless Sarge was there to gang up on Grif, while Tucker and Caboose got along fine unless Church was there to gang up on Caboose? remember when Church died and Tucker and Caboose were just homies hanging out? "oh, that's funny!" "yeah? you didn't think it was too obvious?" "no, no, not at all. it was good." remember when Church came back and fucked that all up? anyone else think about their relationship deteriorating as the seasons progressed, probably largely due to the way Tucker could so easily turn on Caboose just because Church was around, until Caboose outright and openly disliked Tucker so much that he'd purposefully leave Tucker out of the stories he told Epsilon?

anyone else think about how gentle Washington was with Caboose, so unlike the way Church treated him, and how much that probably influenced the way Tucker treated Caboose after Chorus? anyone else ever think about how having Washington around probably reframed so much of how Tucker viewed Caboose? like how under duress Washington might mix up Tucker and Carolina due to their armor color and his memory issues, not unlike how Caboose used to mix up Church and Washington after Sidewinder. or when Washington tells Tucker about his friend Agent Iowa, and the cognitive issues he suffered after an air circulation problem with his armor, and Tucker has to remember that Caboose had a similar issue--what they'd all very lightheartedly referred to as 'the breath-holding competition'. or the several examples Carolina and Washington would have of the AI fragments causing problems for them and several of their former teammates.

imagine Tucker on Iris reconciling that Caboose used to be a guy who cracked sex jokes, and back-talked Church, and called Texas a cow, and was all in all just as much of an asshole as the rest of them, and the reason Caboose isn't like that anymore is not because he's stupid, it's because of the staggering amount of brain damage Caboose would have sustained from oxygen deprivation, and O'Malley, and all the times he'd hit his head. remember how quick Tucker is to come to Caboose's defense after their time on Iris? from Dylan: "i miss Church." "you mean the Epsilon AI?" "no. he means Church." and from Temple: "it's okay, i know Church is still out there." "really? you think so?" "stop it." and "maybe if you all didn't treat him like some big baby, he would understand something as simple as death." "i'll give him a real world example if you unlock this fucking cell!" guys, i'm thinking about Tucker and Caboose, and i'm insane about it.

thinkin about how Tucker is the only person who meets an authentic version of Washington. everyone else met Washington fresh off Recovery One and just barely healed from South's betrayal. everyone else saw Washington as this unrelenting force who hunted down the Meta and took out Freelancer Command. everyone else knew what Washington was capable of when he got backed into a corner by the UNSC and teamed up with the Meta in a desperate bid to stay out of prison. everyone else met Washington at the absolute lowest point in his life, and Tucker met A Guy. Tucker helps Caboose pull this dude out of the snow and he can't hardly stand up on his own, much less walk in a straight line. Tucker gives him the most flippant answer as to why they're helping him, and he still says 'thank you' like being kept around for convenience's sake was something to be grateful for. he lets Caboose call him 'Church'. everyone else met a version of Washington willing to shoot people to get his hands on the Epsilon Unit, and Tucker met a guy willing to put a gun to Agent Carolina's head because she put one to Tucker's first. everyone else met a soldier who called simulation troopers and their bases 'training', and Tucker met a guy who installed a gravity lift in their base at the crash-site because it was fun and took the time to fix Caboose's old helmet and admitted to being worst freelancer in his squad. everyone else met a man who put other people at risk to escape the UNSC and Tucker met a man who would jump to put himself between his team and danger every time. everyone else met Agent Washington and Tucker met Wash. guys. oooough.. thinkin about Tucker and Washington.

"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.

Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".

I think they should've put Osiris back in the Tower. If they can put Lodi there, I think it'd be nice to see him in his old spot near Ikora, or in the Hangar with Saint. The same with other characters like Ana or Mithrax. They don't have to be interactable, but it would've been so nice to just see them around as a sort of easter egg at least?

Saw Lodi and Starhorse art and thought about it long enough to make silly head-cannons:

Starhorse was pulled through time like Lodi, but earlier.

If Lodi connected to Starhorse, he’d just start neighing loud asf out of nowhere.

Starhorse is to Lodi what Ghost are to Guardians

I dont yap about all my art but for this one i will.

The working title for this was "a quiet goodbye". Sometimes you dont get the fanfare. The mission is last minute and the vanguards send you off alone. Thats what i wanted to capture because thats what it felt like.

Ikora is the professional one independently in frame. Crow is casual and leaning on something. Zavala is half turned showing a bit of reluctancy. Guardian was walking ahead and takes a look back. I dont think i need to spell out what they each represent.

honestly I think if Destiny had ended after the Final Shape, I would've handled it better. But it's the fact that we have Lodi, who's easily one of, if not the most, interesting character we've seen so far and we don't get an ending for him. I wanted to see Chicago with him, and how being Emissary changed him, and see him become Ambassador to the Nine. We're not getting any of that and it feels more cruel to him than the community in my opinion. Like he's been ripped from his home and now he's just stuck in a void forever. I hope we get some kind of conclusion for him, even if it's not in the game itself
