What are YOU all wanting to see in the new lore reveals/secrets that we’re soon to receive?
I hope it’s something about Asher Mir, or maybe something about gaining control of the remaining Pyramid ships (Those things are huge and already have small cities inside of them so maybe they can be used as a sort of colony ship for frontier exploration).
Or maybe most of the Fallen houses are joining the House of Light, finally!!!
Nobody’s said anything so I guess I’ll just keep going:
-More about Fynch and Kevin (Fynch’s Hive Lightbearer). It’s sad that he never got to fight in the final battle against The Witness with us. It’s sad that he’s been dead, but conscious of it this whole time.
-The first of Riven’s clutch hatching. I need to see everyone’s reaction. Whether it’s awe or horror.
-Mithraxx or Eido becoming Kell of Kells by being resurrected as a Lightbearer. We all know it was supposed to be Mithrax, but the end of Revenants was.. eh. And Eido already has good standing with EVERYONE so that makes sense.
-Coalition ships spreading outward into the universe on a mission to take back everything that our collective enemies stole. Torabotl, helping with Riis (even though Eramis would not like that), and whatever else is out there that could use some saving.
-Part two of this is Osiris and Saint leaving the city and leading a flock of colony ships to repopulate the galaxy. Sure, they’re vulnerable, but they can take the AUD’s that we never used and protect themselves or something.
-Something about the Distributary. It’s probably been billions of years since Mara and her crew left and maybe now is the best time for her to come back and rub it in everyone’s faces that she was right. The drama that’ll unfold when it’s revealed that her mom is still alive. Mara would probably still look the same as when she left :(
-The Traveler… doing SOMETHING. No, no, don’t get me wrong: I’m SO glad that it’s resting as it should. But… how exactly has darkness being infused with it changed it? Can it actually communicate better, now?
-YW going on vacation with Lodi. Thats all. That’s their bestie and they go everywhere together.
-All the Eliksni leaders regularly communicating with each other (Spider, Mithrax, Eramis). Checking in and stuff.
-Failsafe being transferred to the Tower. I know a lot of people are already annoyed by how much I love her but her story is tragic and it needs a good ending. Not her accepting that she’ll be alone forever.
BONUS:
I want the H.U.B GONE! I want it out of my sight! I’ve hated seeing that junk pile just sitting there for years. Dismantle it or get it flying again. Same thing with the old Tower thats had several security breaches. Scrap it or fix it.

One of the reasons I like that Destiny 2 is settling down is that I felt like we jumped into a new Saga way too immediately anyway. Monument of Triumph is something that Destiny 2 should have ended on in the first place after the Episodes Saga finished, as they kinda wrapped up/teased a lot of story beats for what should have been the next game.
TFS was an amazing end, and I had already ranted that I hated how we were rushing from one fight into the next without any rest, celebration of saving the entire universe, or any sort of rebuilding. Things just immediately got bad again.
So yeah, despite EOF already being released, I’m glad we’re seemingly ‘resting’ with all of our friends now, finally!!!!❤️
I just really hate that the curse on the Dreaming City was never lifted and every clue on how to free the Corsairs was a lie :(
I feel really bad for Petra, I always have, especially since I REALLY like her!!! Hopefully Bungie gives us hope for them with those lore reveals in the last update, something that shows they have some sort of lead to freeing everyone….
Not that anyone cares (it’s true, but I’m using as a thought archive now at this point) but I’m happy that Destiny 2 is ‘settling down’ in a sort of way. I don’t see it as dying and dead. They’re leaving us with a lot if people want to stay, which will be me!!! I love Destiny and I always will and I’m so glad hearing about this sort of send off as Bungie focuses on other stuff.
Even though I don’t have any current friends from all of my years playing the game or interacting with people in relation to it online, I’m still so glad that I could get together with others who seemed to enjoy Destiny as much as me. Not to be rude, but I’ll be unfollowing and softblocking everyone soon LOL. Nothing personal, but I’m starting over.
