A reward worthy of your loyalty
the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself
skk letting each other touch each other's scars, the stoic and guarded expression wears off, it's just them, only them and the matching scarfs they wore since they were 15.
the time passes by - the reminder of letting the marks and the cracks in their skin grow untouched, and yet it was the same, even after years.
the feeling of being unravelled was the same be it warmth or the chill (it really doesn't matter) of their fingers entwined, is grounding, a ritual before every new year's to love and let themselves be loved, truly seen in each other's gaze, nothing's really changed.
thinking 24/7 about skk girl dads if you even care
I love taking panels completely out of context and misusing them š«¶
I always loved the little details of joona linna the way his eyes perk up when he identified with something the way his eyes melt when he sees the people he wanted to protect the way he wants to protect the strangers he vowed to protect as a detective when he couldn't save his family from a very cruel fate which was not in his hands even, the way he gets so frustrated when he doesn't pick on the clues that keep him going omg can u see that I love him
the fact that andrew has found everything hopeless up until the point he meets neil, remember when kevin had said saying he would find something to build his (andrew's) life upon, and neil being the catalyst the build the supposed "hope". Andrew Minyard who had found everything in his life to be meaningless and not worth fell in love with Neil Josten. How beautiful is that? I love my boys so much ā¤
"not all men" chuuya nakahara will never EVER eVeRRRR *hit send*
remember when neil heard a sound at the door he reached for a gun under his pillow and found andrew's hand instead?? it's almost symbolic cause andrew represents protection and safety for him. š
thoughts of andriel cause I miss them so much <3

"if it means losing you then no"
š
"you are still neil josten and im still the man who said he would keep you alive"
neil had the urge to run away and detach himself in book 1 and in book 3 he has everything to live for even if he is "nothing" because hope being a "dangerous & fleeting" feeling gave him something ( a family ; the foxes) to cling on to and he was never letting go. š¤
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH???
do you ever think that andrew knew that neil would approach renee to ask about him and tells her to tell him "answers"??? either way I love it when andrew is described from an outsider's point of view lol
