Pretty flowers and death
“Y/N I don’t understand your obsession with putting Christmas testicles all over the tree.”
You shake your head and smirk, “no Johannes, they are called baubles and they look pretty. Get your head out of the gutter babe.”

Help. (via olliepots)
the great thing about having a tumblr is u never have to watch an awards show on tv bc all 150 of your mutuals are watching it and are not quiet ever
“why didn’t you kiss her?” says your heart to your brain.
“well, the time wasn’t right,” says your brain, “you didn’t seem ready.”
“I was so ready!” screams your heart, “it was the only thing I wanted to do!”
“it wasn’t the right time,” declares brain, “and that, my friend, is final.”
“no,” your heart shakes her head, “you’re wrong. you’re wrong!” she screams. “it was the perfect moment, the perfect weather, the perfect setting, the perfect smile, the perfect girl. how could it not have been the right time?” she pauses and contemplates.
“and is that your only argument? that it wasn’t the right time? I have a million reasons why it was the right moment!” continues heart. “didn’t you see her face? didn’t you feel the warmth of her body pressed against yours? how could you not have recognized the sunshine in her voice? and the smell of almond? she loves you, brain, and you love her! how on earth could it not be the right time?”
your brain is shying away and your heart is getting so worked up, she is pounding and trying to get her way so desperately that you think about running to her car and tell her exactly what your heart is saying, but when you feel yourself looking back for the fourth time, her car is driving out of sight and you see only the blurry motion of her arm waving back.
heart looks up at brain angrily, he sighs. “you’re right,” he says hesitantly, “next time. next time, I’ll let you take charge.”
on one hand, my heart is content and flustered and feels nothing except the radiant glow of affection and disbelief at how beautiful love can be. my skin glistens with fresh March sunlight beating down through my car windshield. i can’t fight that stupid grin off my face.
on the other hand, i can feel the regret start to sink in, like a tar pit in my stomach and a hungry black hole at the center of my brain.
“why didn’t you kiss her?” i ask myself.
“well, for starters,” my brain starts to chime in, constantly bossed by the chief in command, Insecurity, “how do you know if they wanted to kiss you back?”
“because we held each other tight and they looked into my eyes and i knew! i knew it!” my heart screams. it’s full on Tantrum Mode, and my ribcage is a playpen, my heart a blustering two-year-old that isn’t grown enough to voice its own desires.
my brain, cool and collected, retorts, “you had to distance yourself, protect your ego - what if you screwed something up? you know you would have. it’s better this way.”
with my body as a cage match between feeling and reason, i decide to put the car in drive and take what i can get.
