Last night a cat followed my partner home from the pharmacy. We're gonna get him checked for a microchip and stuff at the vet once they reopen

I'm starting to be active here again so I think it's time for a lil intro post! I'm Catgirlnextdoor, friends call me Ali or just Catgirl! I'm a trans, queer, disabled, polyam woman who does content creation and music! I have 2 cats (Rosie and Oliver) and a dog (Sadie). I live with my partner, Mel, and we make a lot of content together ranging from streaming to stickers to music and more! I've been on Tumblr for years, but this specific page has existed since I realized I was trans back in 2017! If you're following from when I was posting my transition photos and posts, you mean the world to me and are probably part of what kept me going through all of the shit that happened when I came out. Elon Musk has taken control of twitter. Immediately fired the person responsible for content moderation who suspended Trump. Reactionaries are flooding the mentions of their favorite targets with slurs, rape threats, and other forms of harassment. Elon posted a message to advertisers basically begging them not to pull out.

Being on twitter, this has been wild to watch go down. People being suspended for questioning him on the app, a million imposter Elon accounts, weirder and weirder ad choices as more companies pull away. Never thought I'd be around for the heat death of a second social media platform.
