Timeline: Before Dew leaves for that fateful tour.

Alpha couldn’t resist seeing Dew. And he couldn’t resist that part of his heart that wanted Dew to be his and his alone.

Though it caught Alpha off-guard… in that moment, he decided to. Afterward, Dew begged him to open the bond so he could feel Alpha. Against his better judgment, Alpha did; and the sheer amount of pain Alpha’s been carrying hit Dew with full force. Dew decided he was going to stay and fix Alpha, fix them… but Alpha won’t let him; it’s not time for Dew to retire yet.

Alpha hates that he has to leave Dew… but they both know he can’t stay. He can’t be found outside the catacombs, and even worse, he can’t be found being around Dew. Even though he wants to stay. Wants to hold Dew and tell him everything. Let Dew in and make up for all the cruelty he’d laid on him. But he can’t.

Unfortunately…. Sister was tipped off. And was waiting for Alpha right outside the door. And she knows that her iron grip on Alpha’s soul would be horrified that she will be in such proximity to Dew, a distance from him where he can’t protect Dew. She knows how the tour will end, Nihil told her so… but she can’t resist one last threat. One that will stick with Alpha even after she’s gone.

Dew just wants Rain to be realistic, and he knows Rain will take it hard when Storm is sent back; he can’t see any sort of reality where Perpetua decides to keep Storm, and he doesn’t want to see Rain’s heart be completely broken. Especially now that Rain has grown past his own selfishness and self-centered connections with others.

While Alpha comforts Storm about the failed mating attempts, Dew is the one that cares for Rain. And he’s realistic about it; he and Rain are both from the Lesser Pits, the chances of a proper mating is slim. But not completely hopeless; it worked for him, after all.

It’s not Ghost…. but I’ve been comfort-binging Steven Universe, and with @ashthewaterghoul helping me and giving me the idea to try drawing something not Ghost, I did manage to draw something and feel brave enough to challenge myself and post it. It might sound weird, but drawing this kind of got the Ghost gears moving in my head again… if that makes sense in some way? At least I know I was able to draw more Ghost after finishing this.

So have a little Pink Diamond and Pearl intermission from Ghost. Hopefully I’ll feel comfortable enough to keep posting Ghost drawings again soon, now that it’s starting to feel a little lighter and drawing it is becoming a little easier...

Unfortunate Ghost News?

It was about one of the artists behind the masks. I don’t like hearing about them. And kinda don’t wanna go into detail…. but yeah. Kind of devastated me. But I’m getting support through this, which I’ve never had before, so maybe I’ll be able to recover faster, artistically speaking. But there are a lot of blocks I gotta try to work around (currently not capable of drawing at home, and when I do draw it’s at work because that’s where most of my drawing happens, and right now I’m focused on my comfort zone while I try to get back on the horse).

Timeline: The 45th denial. Sister had told Earth if he asked for their kit one more time, he’d regret it. He just didn’t think Air would be his punishment.

(I’ll be honest: I’m going through some Things. I had some unfortunate Ghost news, which shook me and resulted in me not being able to draw for a few days because my heart hurt too much. Usually, when I lose the ability to draw it lasts for a while — the last one being almost five years — but with support I’ve managed to be able to do a little bit. But I apologize in advance if I post a lot less than I used to while I keep trying to heal with this; hopefully I’ll be back on my artistic feet soon)

Timeline: Rain has asked Delta to walk him back to his room after Aether’s patched him up. Rain may have initiated the kissing, but Delta’s the one that went all in. There’s a reason Rain kept Delta around after their first tumble into bed... And Aether’s a little relieved to have someone else taking Delta’s libido; nothing wrong with Delta, but it was like aaaaaaaall the time with him. Aether needed a little break.

(just goes to show just how diminished he was by the time Mountain got to him; he went from a feral little minx to shying away from touch)

Timeline: Rain seeing Delta for the first time after getting his ass beat by Alpha and then Earth.

Delta sticks to the infirmary most of the time, so the other ghouls either don’t know him or don’t remember him. And “enthusiastic” is an understatement….
