The things you find in old houses. This beautiful wood chisel was found under the floorboards some time ago when building part of my shop. It seems to me it was left be accident when the house was built in 1896. The steel is abit pitted but besides that in pretty good condition. A serious piece of Anso history. This is the first knife I ever made. Finished in 1989! Made from a big file - ground on a hard wheel grinder. Handle whittled from pear tree. Gave it to my dad who still has it. #firstknife #ansoknives #history
