Ā Ā Ā the almost 200 years of claudio sepulvedaās life can be considered relatively interesting ---at least to a vain creature like himself. born as pedro de alcĆ¢ntara brasiliero, one of the bastard children of dom pedro i of brazil, claudio was recognized by his father as his child and given a share of his estate. the relationship that claudio had with his father was minimal as he was one of many children (legitimate or not) though from what small memories he has, he favored the man. his life was lavish, though as a human claudio found himself more tempered than not, and was never left wanting for anything at all. raised to be polite and charming, claudioās human life was ---according to himself, relativelyĀ boring. never married, he fathered a son with a french aristocrat and continued traveling europe until his death. or rather, his second birth.

Walking through the streets of Versailles, Bakari had to seriously fight from sneering at the humans that passed him by. God, how he hated them. Such arrogance for such fragile things. The only thing that he could really commend them on was the mere fact that they were adaptable and, quite frankly, he neededĀ them. Humans were an unfortunate necessity if he wanted to survive, which was one of the key reasons he had slipped into politics - the old adage wasĀ you gained more flies with honey than vinegar, right?
Still, making his way into a night club, the vampire was eager to find something warmĀ to drink - even if the humans of today tasted nothingĀ like humans of his youth, as the Industrial Revolution fucked that all to hell - when he made his way to the bartender. Push come to shove, they were sureĀ to have a willing human donor or, at the very least, a blood bag - though the mere thought of thatĀ had him mentally gagging. Just as he reached the bar, however, a man that had been sitting there began to speak up about his meal.
Gaze shifted to the plate in front of the human, and years of practice allowed him to keep the sneer off of his face as he faced the other male.Ā āIn my experience, one doesnāt really trust the word of a bar chef on what is or isnāt good food. Ā Ā Ā his nod of confirmation was a small one, eyes dipping briefly to the shot glass where she dragged it more toward her person than not as if confirming her agreement in action as well in word. of course he had heard of what her blood would do. he wasnāt chasing a high, wasnāt seeking some sort of solace in the promise of dreams too intimate to speak of in proper conversation from day-to-day life. in passing. but accounts and notations only went so far in research without personal input - it wasnāt the first time someone would perform a test on a live subject (typically themselves) in the pursuit of that knowledge. and it would be mostly harmless ---he didnāt have an addictive personality, and his dreams were typically bland (or outright nightmares) when he could recall them. all signs pointed to arguments forĀ rather than against. or perhaps it was what he chose to see.
