Do we know why David will not be reprising his role as Bruno in Sapere Aude S2 ? It makes absolutely no sense not having him in it as we need to see his and Pols relationship develop throughout University to get us to a place that we saw at the end of Merli where they are clearly in love and living together and eventually marrying. I am gobsmacked and irritated to learn that Bruno won't be in it :-( I probably won't watch it now :-(

As of today we only know it's been Héctor Lozano (the creator/writer)'s creative decision, at least that's what we got from David's interview.

I hope Héctor makes an official statement soon!

DAVID SOLANS CONFIRMS BRUNO WON'T BE IN SEASON 2 OF "MERLÍ: SAPERE AUDE"

In an interview with IG account @david_moons, "Merlí" and "Merlí: Sapere Aude" actor David Solans (Bruno Bergeron) stated that Bruno will most likely not be appearing in the second season of the Catalan spin-off series.

David said: "There will be a second season of "Merlí: Sapere Aude" but I believe Bruno's character is not gonna be there anymore. This is a creative decision from Héctor [Lozano] (the creator). Apparently, he considers that there are more important storylines to tell, so..."

Héctor has yet to make an official statement regarding this situation.

Hi, I know maybe it’s wrong asking to to translate because you may end up with a lot of same asks. But long ago I saw a scene between pol and his father and they were speaking about sexuality (?, I assume, I don’t really understand the language) I am very interested to know what his father said to him. Could do that translation? I’ll understand if you don’t want to avoid everyone asking the same, don’t worry

Is he biphobic/does he act like a biphobe throughout the rest of the series? How does that situation end? I'm mostly asking because I feel kind of bad for Pol with the way Rai reacted haha.

No, Rai is not biphobic at all!! He actually is really accepting after they talk it out, he was just surprised and that's all. He is just confused because of the situation, he is a jokester, and also drunk in that scene.

What do u think of Brunol in this season?.. I’m little dissapointed

Hi! I enjoyed watching this first season of "Merlí: Sapere Aude" a lot, and I loved the new characters and storylines. I think what was really important this time was Pol's self-discovery, and that part was amazingly done.

Now, if you only want me to give my opinion on Brunol... I do think that, of course, it ended badly for them this season (especially Bruno), but I'm not disappointed or anything because we all already know they'll end up together.

I'm a 100% sure their dynamic's gonna change next season, as well. Now that Pol's got a crush he's gotta get over with Rai because it's not reciprocated, and Bruno has it pretty clear that Pol has never loved him, Pol will most likely further explore his sexuality and maybe even realize he has actual feelings for Bruno, when he sees the guy finally moving on. That will be really interesting, and I'm really, really excited for season 2.

Also, there's a new wlw ship introduced in the last episode of the season that I'm super curious about, and I'm gonna love seeing more of them next season and the drama that's gonna cause.
