A lot of people have talked about the Rooster Teeth shutdown, and that's valid I guess. But I want to bring attention to another thing that got hit by the same wave. One of my countries largest media outlets. And also the entire TV channel it was attached to but that's less relevant. We just lost like a fifth of our jounalistic output from this. In conclusion globalization of media was a horrible mistake, how did we get to the point where Rooster Teeth and all of TV3 ended up in the same spot?

The national tv from Catalunya streamed the uwcl final from their main channel and got 28.4% of share audience during the game.

The game also got 1,670,000 viewers. Which in comparison to the population of Catalonia who can stream the channel is huge. Catalunya population is around 7,000,000
