âCould have asked,â Claire mumbled. She would have fought, but at least it would have been a fair fight. âDonât you dareââ she pulled her hand away, or attempted to, though Anthony was much stronger than her. âFirst of all, heâs not royal. Secondly, he knows my indiscretions. Iâm not giving you his name, youâll have to kill me first.â Her eyes moved up to meet his and she attempted to stand. âHave you ever stopped to think why we are going after the Beast family? This isnât even our fight.â
Zurie stood a few steps away from Anthony, letting him take the lead on everything. It was his sister, after all. She got little joy out of torturing the girl unless it was what he wanted, but when she mentioned she would need to be killed first, she couldnât help the smirk on her red lips. âWatch your mouth or that can easily be arranged.â Anthony was actually the only reason Claire was alive.Â
Anthony snatched her hand, gripping forcefully at the finger in attempt to pull the ring off. âDoes he now and he takes you as you are? He is not a villain, that is for sure. Or unless you decided to somehow steal a room, which I do doubt. No need to hold the name back, I can figure that out on my own.â It would not be that difficult, though Anthony hardly cared much for the man she was with. Claire was who he had his eyes out for, his dear little sister that he wanted to bring back to the dark side. âI have thought about it clearly. I am not doing this for father, if that is what you are hinting at.â Never. Anthony did nothing for that drunk. Acquiring power was his dream, something he knew he could reach with the right motive. âYou know,â Anthony paused, circling around so he was by Zurieâs side. âI think it would be hot to sit down and watch you do your act,â he whispered into Zurieâs ear, his hand draping around her shoulder. âYou donât have to go easy on her either, she isnât worth it -- Or. You can lend me a hand Claire, take your pick.â
