work and real life has been kicking my butt once again. also prepping/hyperventilating with excitement for my weekend out of town next week, because I never do anything out of town ever. I have the day off tho and as soon as I finish this errand you'll probably have me for the rest of the day and some of tomorrow

rolling her eyes at this chuckle, andi couldn’t help but let a small smirk form on her lips as she looked at the male, taking in a deep breath. “not a problem,” she said with a small smirk, leaning her back against the bar as she looked around with him, raising her eyebrow as she looked at the girl he pointed out, her nose instantly wrinkling. “why? curious if the curtains match the drapes, santos?” she asked before taking her last swing of the bottle, putting it down on the bar. “but fine – if you insist on the desperate wanna-be’s i’ll see what i can do for you.”
"really am glad to have you around." he mumbled. when she spoke again he shook his head vigorously, "nothing like that. and YOU should know me better than that, garcia." he pointed out setting his bottle on the counter, he found it hard now to look at anyone else. "she just seems -- nice." he said with a shrug of his shoulders as she finished her bottle, furrowing his eyebrows as she started talking again. "whoa whoa whoa desperate wanna-be's you told me to pick a target, remember? who would YOU have me ask about?"

her eyes welled up with tears, the lump in her throat only felt bigger and bigger. she’d usually be head over heels happy to see him. but this time it felt wrong. her heart started beating faster and faster, the thoughts in her head kept her stressed. “i’m–i’m alive.”
"ELISE..." there was a battle between familiarity and bombarding her with questions of the clearly unknown. she was ALIVE. "dev might just kill over." he finally summoned more words a smile lifting the corners of his lips for a moment, "we -- we --" so much for bombarding her with questions, nothing seemed to want to come out and a frown settled into his features. "HOW??"

her knees went weak for a moment. of course she recognized him and she knew it wasn’t devlin, no question there. but anthony–… he wasn’t someone she was ready to talk to yet. who was she even kidding?? she wasn’t ready to talk to anyone. “—ant…”
his mouth gapped open as the wheels turned in his head trying to find a word ANY word. if he wasn't at such a lost he'd tease at possibly being devlin. DEVLIN WAS GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK. he really hadn't woken up that day planning on running into someone who was supposed to be D E A D. "am i dead or are you ALIVE ?"

rolling her eyes at his comments, andi took her own swing from her bottle, taking a deep breath before looking around the usual club anthony and her made their home other than their actual home. “it’s horrible, your fly will actually never be down if you use that on anyone around here.” she nudged him back, taking a deep breath. “alright, pick your target and i’ll try my best.”
nearly choking on his drink he lowered the bottle and chuckled, " I LOVE YOU andi. thanks for being the biggest advocate of me getting some." he went on grinning and shaking his head again he took another swig from what was left in his bottle. dark eyes moving around the bar and glancing over each face, "red head sitting alone at the other end of the bar." he finally mused.
“—-What if we try again? It could work, please— please be patient, I need this to work…”
the voice was enough to pull him from his own little world. it was all too familiar. he found an all too familiar sight when his gaze trailed up -- a sight that wasn't supposed to be. "elise." there was no question to be found about the girl's identity, but she was dead and he kept an arms link away from the APPARENT apparition.
“ i feel like i have a tonne of work to do before this weekend and––– –– oh gosh, i’m just s u p e r stressed out right now, ” she attempts to speak into the mobile balanced on her shoulder, hands fumbling with the pile of papers in her hands, many of them dropping on the floor in a trail behind her, “ no! no! i can do it, i can totally, totally do it! ––– what was it you needed doing again? ”
it was somewhat amusing watching the girl struggle and talk into her phone saying how she COULD DO IT. trailing behind her he picked up the papers the second in command was leaving in her wake, before stepping in front of her trying to get hold of the rest of the papers in her hands and keep quiet during her conversation. "BREATHE." he mumbled dark eyes drifting up to her for a moment.
“— gonna stop you there,” the brunette better before pouting her lips slightly, her head shaking from side to side. “first of all, that pick up line is garbage, and second of all, it makes it more garbage with your fly down, bud.”
shaking his head the santos twin tried not to but failed with not smiling, "one, it's GOLDEN lower case a. two, is not. and three, you're supposed to be my wingwoman. help me out a little." he nudged his shoulder against hers and brought the bottle back up to his lips.
