I Hope So
Been a big fan of I Hope So for a long time, I think since around Chapter 6 and still on Webtoons, so wanted do do fanart of my favorite characters. Of course we have the protagonists Hopeful, her girlfriend Storm and sister Adamant, pastel emo boy Fade and the awesome hyena depictions of the Matriarch and Storm Jr. God, if you like good art, stories, and African animals, please go check this comic out if you haven't.

TLK: GOAT
I finally caved in and saw GOAT. I normally am a bit hesitant with anthromorphic animals, but I feel that the style and animation, as well as great characters and good story were well-made. So naturally, here's my interpretation of it in TLK.
Though the kingdom of the Pridelands and many of its surrounding kingdoms is known for their compassionate and respectful cultures, where animals help each other and follow the guidance of the Circle of Life, in lands further away the cultures are not as peaceful. In many places the law of the land remains the Circle of Life, but without the deeper understanding or realization of greater connection, most animals remain almost feral, preferring to interact solely with their own kind, to not bridge with other species to see how complex and diverse their lives are. To those unfamiliar to this world, it feels cold, harsh, and unfriendly. And it is, though not always.
Across the more wild areas and lands, a phenomenon has appeared and has grown into something unique, something inclusive of different species yet contains the untamed and instinctual natures, put into physical activity and skill: Roarball. A game where animals, mostly predators or large creatures like hippos and buffalo, will engage in basically a more rough and structured version of baobab ball. Teams are pitted against each other and the goal is to score points by getting the ball, typically a dried gourd filled with clay or baobab fruit and then painted with fruit juice, into a given goal, like a woven grass basket or a hole in the ground.
Will the American pygmy is now an African-native Nubian ibex, though Jett remains a panther, Lenny a giraffe, and Olivia a ostrich. Archie and his two daughters Adi and Ari got tweaked to be African rhinos, and Modo is now a Nile monitor. And before you at me for Modo's spikes, they're painted rocks glued to him. He is very big on the paint aesthetic and he and Olivia love the apply the stuff to their bodies as self-expression. Most animals around the area do, as the dye is also used for the ball and arena.
You got your Death Note in my Good Omens!!!

Perhaps Aziraphale should keep his cursed books under lock and key like he does for his Martha Stewart collection.

for the prompt āunderratedā I chose makuu. Which is definitely stretching it because he seems to be well liked. But I rarely if ever seen fanart for him on DA, and I wanted an excuse to draw my favorite man!
Iām playing around with the idea of giving him a wife, currently nameless but Iāve been tentatively calling her Kroko after a character from a kopa book, and inspired by the crocodiles from SP. Sheās from an outlander float ā not kiburiās ā but began visiting the pridelands after the post ghost scar truce. (Outsiders have always been allowed to visit, temporarily hunt, and even live in the pridelands, they just need permission from the monarch. We see this with ajabu, and kion attempts it with the jackels. The problem with most of the outlanders, and backlanders, historically is they refuse to ask, they believed in taking. Mpishi could have gotten those samples she wanted so badly if sheād just. politely introduced herself to simba.) her float was never really a troublemaking issue tho; certainly not "goody-goodies" by any means, but they minded their own business.
I donāt really have their story worked out, but her vibe is meant to invoke āif she were a human sheād be a biker chickā and he thinks sheās the coolest croc heās ever met.
There's been some commotion in TV World, but it seems like Tenna's wires have snapped to the point of feeling a little glooby with his staff š
Jake Vox was so kind to provide his fantastic voice for Tenna to make something that is fully tailored! Thank you so much again for this amazing collab!

When you suddenly recall a childhood memory:
"I need to stop starting fandom projects so I stop disappointing people."
it's okay to disappoint people
it's okay to work slowly
it's okay to let yourself rest
it's okay to drop projects
Stop treating yourself like you are the workers at a fast food franchise.
