You may not be able to see your own beauty or love yourself but one day, someone will. You have only lived such a small part of yourself, you will never know what the future brings. So, keep going. Hold on. You are never alone. ♥
you are good enough :3
I love this so much
Stop beating yourself up. You’re a work in progress, which means you get there a little bit at a time not all at once.
Stay planted.

my therapist taught me to start thinking of my anxiety as my panicky friend
it’s working???
this is so cute omg
Woah this is super useful!!
For all my anxious friends out there.
This totally works! Some of us get stuck in the sense that we *are* our emotions, so they overwhelm us and we can’t do anything about them. When you give your emotion an identity separate from you, it gives you the distance to make better judgments about it, and to comfort yourself better. 10/10 therapy veterans would recommend.
Needed this today.
[image is a two image comic of a girl and a squishy yellow friend. In the first panel, the yellow squish screams “PANIC!!!” and in the second panel, the girl is holding and hugging the yellow squish, with the caption “its okay bb, I got you”]

How has art helped you with your mental health?
Please reply or reblog with your answers! Please be specific, e.g.:
“I struggle with excessive anxiety and looking at Monet paintings calms me when I’m close to panic.”
“Last time I was depressed, reading The Expanse series brought me comfort.”
“I’ve experienced psychosis before, and during those times reading poetry by Maya Angelou has helped me organize my thoughts and distract me from voices.”
Please don’t answer unless you’re okay with me anonymously sharing your answers with my bosses who I’m hoping will let me do this project, or with people with money that I hope will donate for it.
Please reblog this post so I can get enough responses!
When I am depressed and anxious, coloring in adult coloring books calms my busy brain and helps me focus on the current moment rather than all my worries.
When I’m stressed or tired of the daily grind, reading the poetry of the Psalms reminds me of my place in God’s universe. When I’m ticked off, writing sarcastic poetry helps me keep from yanking someone’s eyebrows off.
When I’m close to an anxiety attack, acting helps, because I’m changing to person I am and it forces me to focus on something but the fear
