FIRST - established shance and uh oh - here comes lotor
- CAN U IMAGINE?? shance bein all cute and protective of each other and lotor looking at them like “damn i want that too” cuz he’s never had anyone love him (his mom doesnt care, his father hates his guts, poor boy someone hug him)
- and lotor sees lance as, well not an easy target per say, but definitely more approachable than hunk of muscle takashi shirogane.
- and lance is the friendliest, i have a feeling that lotor would try to reach out to him first (maybe even by accident - late at night and lance is on guard duty and i bet lotor feels bad about a lot of things (like narti and his squad and how the people he thought would stick by his side no matter what didn’t and maybe he spills all of this to a very startled and suspicious lance)) but lance warms up to him and they get a’talkin and wow lotor doesn’t seem so bad, yea sure he’s ambitious about the wrong things but he’s not malicious
- and shiro is hella wary cuz PTSD will do that to ya, and sometimes insist on going on guard duty with lance cue pining lotor looking at how shance treats each other. and shiro looks at lance like he’s the most precious gift the universe has ever blessed him with and lance talks to shiro like he hung the moon for him. Yea anyway poor lotor, he never stood a chance.
- he probably wouldn’t understand his feelings very well what with no proper emotional guidance from anyone. I’m pretty sure shiro would have picked up on it first. Or maybe lance - he is the most perceptive.

- i feel like lotor would try to act all macho in their relationship like “who me? I don’t need affection” and shiro would give him a pointed look and kiss his cheek and grin as lotor bites the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling.
- god they would both spoil lance rotten
- and lance would be very Enthusiastic about introducing lotor to human affection and rituals
- and of course lotor revels in it
- he loves it when lance braids his hair (the first time he purred he blushed so hard shiro had to kiss him. he just Had to)
- and of course he’s all blushy in bed - even just cuddling or spooning (shiro loves it. It’s his personal goal to dismantle the stoic regal pomp that lotor puts on)
