Marseille 2018
After working for such a long time on this project, I am pleased to announce that with your help, we can turn it in a gorgeous fanzine. This first edition will be limited to a hundred copies.
A crowdfunding link providing all the details will drop here on Thursday, 23rd, 19h00 (GMT+1- Paris time)
Here’s a tool to help you figure out what time will this be in your location.
And a song about graffiti to stay pumped up until then.
Hello!
I am pleased to announce that I’m part of the exhibition ALL BIG LETTERS, starting two days from now (January 20th) at Haverford College in Philadelphia.
I’m actually thrilled to be a part of this, because it differs from most « street art » or « graffiti exhibitions » who claim to be showing/ explaining « street art » or « graffiti » when all there’s to see are pictures of graffiti and uninspired canvases. I think the actions involved in the making of a graffiti (getting the right tools and yourself to the right place at the right time) are as important (if not more) as the visual side of the graffiti when doing graffiti critique. While this is something obvious for writers, this fact is systematically overlooked by institutions, who often see (and sell) graffiti as a picture, so I’m proud to be part of an exhibition that tries to correct the record.
My contribution consists in two prototypes of graffitips fanzines, one of which will be available for reading. There’s about 9 pages of stuff I haven’t published on tumblr in it… More news about this coming very soon!
