Some time ago I started this blog in fear of what was going to happen and just kind of left it
Now the US ordered and and carried out an arguably unprovoked attack on Iraqi soil, without congressional approval, killing top General Qassim Suleimani.
3500 troops are being deployed. Iraq wants reprisal of the killing of one of their figures. Keep in mind this is all AFTER the nuclear arms deal falls apart ala 45.
Introduction
Welcome to my blog. One of my (not so secret) loves in life is anti-war songs. It occurs at the intersection of history and pop culture, which is one of my other loves in life. As such, this is not strictly an anti war song blog. Other things you are liable to see on this blog are commentary on the anti war origins and sentiments of certain fandoms; which is actually what spawned this blog.
Just to be clear: I don’t hate soldiers. I don’t hate the military. I hate war. I hate that we send young people out to fight, and bring home boxes draped in flags and broken souls.
