Hello! My name is Robin! This is a blog to share deer antler photos for art references.
I collect deer antlers and figured that since they are so notoriously hard to draw, I could post some photos in many different angles of my collection.
This project is still a big work in progress. Updates may be slow at first. For now the pictures will have my hand in them because I do not have a good setup for these kinds of photos yet.
Feel free to send in requests for certain angles or of certain sets!
Feel free to use these photos in any way you would like! Tracing, collages, etc!
Currently only have white-tailed deer antlers as that is what is available to me. All antlers are collected by me by hand. Sourced from finding them after they naturally shed every winter and roadkill. No deer was intentionally harmed for their antlers.
Some antlers that will be posted will be attached to a skull. This helps get the positions as accurate as possible. Like stated above, skulls are sourced from roadkill, from deer that have naturally passed on, and deer that have been legally harvested for meat. No deer was intentionally harmed for their skull. Skulls will always be tagged.
Every set/skull/antler will have its own tag for easy navigation
@lifeinterconnected is where I actually post finding and processing the antlers I find!
