It was her greatest honor as Batgirl to meet you on the job. A new ally? She wasn’t that excited because there’s so many new heroes, but when she saw you…it did make her question if she really did hate new people.

You always greeted her with a smile and a new case file. She didn’t mind the workload now that it was you who delivered each paper from J’onn. She could do all the cases if it was you who gave them to her. She would do anything for the little conversations you have while you’re patrolling together.

When you finally ask her if you can be her friend, she’s already on her hands and knees screaming yes. (Not really, but you get the picture.) She starts bringing you little gifts like a box or two of your favorite brand of candy. Dick had to stop her from buying you stuff from expensive brands like Dior because well…she doesn’t even know if you like that stuff.

She relies a lot on other people to help her form a proper image of things you like. When she builds up the courage, she asks you if you would take her as your girlfriend, and she almost died when you wanted to go on a date first. Was it a test? Did the patrols not count as dates? They probably didn’t.

When she brought you to the carnival, specifically to the haunted mansion, you expected her to be the one who wasn’t scared, but instead? You were the one who wasn’t scared. She was almost pissing her pants at each corner, and you certainly loved a scary person who’s actually just a massive softie. After the date, you both were certain that you wanted to be girlfriends.
