It annoys the hell out of me when people say that Spain raised Romano, like oh my god Spain was a TEENAGER and Romano was a PRETEEN. I was definitely raising ten-year-olds when I was fourteen!! Can they not see that Spain was raising himself and Romano was his servant? AND NOTHING MORE?

There is also something else to be addressed, which is that Spain proposed to Romano and Romano said if he gets free food then yes. WHAT. If Romano really saw Spain as his guardian, would he say that?

And even if we go by looks, Spain looks to be around the same age as Austria who looks like a fucking teenager. Turkey is the only adult-looking person in Chibitalia and even then Turkey is younger than France who is younger than Greece so Greece is older than Turkey but TURKEY LOOKS OLDER. And they are all hundreds of years old, there is no weird age gap business here or beloved fandom ships like FrUK and RusAme would be way out of the fucking question.

I’m so sick of fandom purity culture where it clearly does not apply, SpaMano is NOT problematic unless you make it such a way (and even then I really don’t care I will just not interact, is that such a hard thing to do? Not interact with SpaMano instead of shitting on it?)

i wish more people actually understood that spamano isnt a incest ship nor is it problematic , spamano doesnt have a big age gap and either!!! as its only a 2 year age gap. also the English dub isnt canon so romano calling spain “big brother” technically isnt canon😭😭😭 and in japanese culture someone calling someone (thats non related is actually a meaning of showing deep respect.ihave more to say about them ICAN NEVER BE NORMAL ABOUT THEM DUDEEE
