Outfit information: Oh he’s not about that spandex life, he said absolutely not and instead came in this all black fit. Bullet proof vest, guns on deck, and knives. He’s ready to kick some ass which is funny because he’s the main who’s supposed to save lives, not take them. 

THEIR SKILLSET:

Heals His Own Wounds: Must be nice to be able to do this! If someone attacks him, he’ll start to heal himself. Depending on how deep and/or bad the wound is, it’ll take him longer to heal himself. 

Rifles + Knives: Bro is strapped. He won’t hesitate to shoot or cut you if he needs to. Might even throw some punches here and there, depends if you’re worthy enough to go against him. 

EVENT SUMMARY: He’s strapped and ready to go. Antonio is walking around the institute, ushering students into classrooms and shooting any Brotherhood members who try to hurt any of them. It’s nice to have allies on his side such as January, the two of them make a nice pair. She helps him with shooting and transporting bodies off institute grounds. He meets up with Dare and heals her, both physically and mentally. And finally he fights against Mark, the snake man. The battle between the two ends in a draw since both kept healing themselves. How pointless and draining. 

JUNE BULLSHIT: 

Antonio heals whoever needs to be healed until heading back to his clinic. That’s where he sees Emilio and Nia. There, he heals the two and keeps them both at his clinic. 

They remain there for a week before Emilio takes Nia’s body and leaves. 

He attends Theodora’s funeral, while he doesn’t cry, there’s pain in chest. That could’ve been him, that could’ve been Duke, that could’ve been-- well. You know who, he can’t even bring himself to think of her name. Not when he’s upset like this. 

Only for the first two weeks of June, he assists with healing students and staff members and with any necessary surgeries. 

After that, he goes back to his clinic and handles all of his appointments. He’s busy the rest of June and the beginning of July.

“I think it would’ve been better if you used your current fame to boost his name. It’ll help you and your cause while also giving him the push that he needs.” Which was a push off a cliff and into the ocean because he wasn’t any good on his own. But wouldn’t that backfire on Jess and her friends? Honestly, Antonio didn’t want to think too much about it, the topic was already strange from the beginning. “Has anyone treated you different after seeing you on TV?”

     emmeline was surprised at the offer. on one hand she felt like she didn’t deserve it but on the other hand, she was getting no better on her own and that only made her dangerous. “would you mind just-” she cut herself off and looked away. “having a look.” she looked back at antonio. “unless you don’t have any time. the students and staff should come first.”

“Of course, just leave it to me.” He smiled gently at her. “You’re just as important as all the students and staff here, always remember that.”

yeah? you and half of chicago. ‘i saw you on oprah’ – famous words that… thank god, were coming from antonio and not a set of strangers ( #famous ). “ ya know, i’m starting t’ wonder if there was anyone who didn’t, ” she replied with an air of a joke… but damn ! she was really banking on ‘fifteen minutes of fame’ being gospel truth – if she was going to become famous for anything, could it not, at least, be for her great sets ? “ i gotta say, i do think it’s the goal of a lotta these guys. i told you about the one who steals whole sets all the time – he’s gotta have a pretty ambitious end goal… ”

“True and even if they didn’t watch the show, other talk shows and news stations have been talking about all of you.” They were all so brave for what they did and yet... this amount of coverage and attention from the public... it had to be uncomfortable for the lot. He felt bad for them, though mostly for Milo and Jess who he was acquainted with. “Of course, how could I forget him?” honestly may i forgot about the guy OIAJGIAGJAOIGAIGA thanks for reminding me about him. “I’m positive that he wants to make it big in the comedy world! And I want to see it happen, just so he can embarrass himself in front of thousands with his act.”

      “my abdomen is giving me a lot of grief. i don’t think it’s as it should be.” there was also an issue with her hands but it was best to list one problem at the time. “what about yourself?” she quickly remembered that it was polite to return the question. “i assume you’re inundated right now.”

“Would you like for me to heal you?” It was his job to heal everyone, or at least to check to see what was going on. “I’m fine. Just a little overwhelmed.” He had a lot of work on his hands after everything. “But I’ll be fine, this is my job.”

Betty, already tired and slightly wounded from everything, glared at Antonio’s greeting. “I don’t see you calling the calvary to come get me.” He still could, but her visits in the past have left her to believe he wouldn’t this time either. “I came to check if you were—” She was cut off by a glance of someone on the bed. “Why is she here? Did you bring her here?” 

“They’re all injured.” Though, even if they weren’t, he wouldn’t call them. His clinic was neutral grounds, it wasn’t a place for fighting but a place for healing. No matter how upset he was with Betty, he wouldn’t ruin the peace of this establishment. He looked between her and his patient. “You know her?”

     “it’s just all so terrible.” the woman’s cloud, that had become a natural occurrence since the start of july, lingered. “to think that people actually did that?” the essex house was one thing and it was a complex matter when the brotherhood, the people who had attacked people in the institutes walls and outside of, had been the ones to destroy it. “do you ever think if people who have done bad things and then do good things, does it neutralise the bad or create a new category?” hina was thinking hard about this one, musing out loud as she encouraged a discussion.

“You shouldn’t be too surprised about them, it’s the Brotherhood after all.” Though, he was extremely disappointed in Elizabeth right now. To think that she would agree to this invasion, she must’ve lost her damn mind with that. “I guess it depends on the bad thing they did. If you’re talking about stealing money then sure, you can neutralize the bad. However, if the bad is breaking into a private institution and endangering children then no. No amount of good deeds will balance that out.”

Someone else will find her. That’s what Dare’s worried about, mostly, and she forces back the bile that rises in her throat at the thought. “She didn’t really–” Dare begins, then catches herself when a twinge in her calf reminds her that it isn’t true. “Yeah, uh. That’d be great, actually.” Can he actually help with the lingering fear? She squeezes her eyes shut as she extends her injured leg toward him and hopes he can. “She tried to make me hurt them. I couldn’t stop myself.”

He gently touched her leg, hands glowing a soft light blue as he began the healing process. Though, he did briefly pause at what Dare said. “What do you mean by that? Did you hurt the students, Dare?”

“Alright. No head popping.” The body burns in her golden flame, and disappears, with the scent of it all wafting through as if it were a bakery. Easy. “Are the children safe, at least?” Her mimosa turns into a shotgun, as if simply moving it lengthens and edits the air around it until January grips something a little heavier and more lethal than a glass of orange juice and champagne. “I freely offer my services, of course. I detest what’s happening here. Unless you would rather I stay out of your way, of course. A lady knows when she’s not wanted.”

“Thank you.” January’s ability always amazed him, sometimes made him wished that he could do something more interesting. But healing was interesting and important, he could never change that about himself. “Yes, they’re fine, I made sure of that before anything else,” Antonio said. “Though, they’re more physically fine and not so much mentally fine. I’m sure they’re all scared right now.” He would be too if he were their age. “Feel free to help me, shoot anyone who isn’t one of us. Wound them, kill them, I personally do not care.” None of them deserve to live anyways.

She doesn’t remember how she got away, but Dare’s never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth. The halls of the Institute have mostly emptied; there are bodies, here and there, but they seem to be those of invaders taken out by other staff - not students, because Dare can’t think about students and violence together right now, not when…

A sob bursts from her chest when she sees Antonio, though whether it’s more rooted in fear (of the gun leveled at her chest) or relief (at the sight of a colleague rather than another masked face) she couldn’t say.

“Antonio.” His name is all Dare can manage, at least at first, and she slumps against the nearest wall in an attempt to let her body rest a little. She’s wound tighter than a cassette tape, nerves buzzing and mind racing, and it takes a moment to catch her breath and settle her heart rate into a rhythm that sort of resembles steady. “I’m… I don’t know where she is, Tony. At least the kids got away.”

He quickly put away his gun, rushing over to kneel at her side. “That’s fine, I’m sure someone else will find her for us,” Antonio said. There was still the other professors and January who were around, he was sure that at least one of them would get rid of whoever attacked Dare. “Did she do something to you? I’ll heal you.”

Well, that date with Betty was still in the books. She thinks about it for a hot minute before discarding the thought—an active situation where they’re both about to defend the Institute of all places isn’t the ideal setting. “Mostly I’m here with an interrupted brunch with Ms. Frost. Building your empire is never easy, but a girl has to do what she can.” She takes a sip of her mimosa and flings two Brotherhood members about to launch themselves at Tony through the windows. "Do you need any help there? I can pop that head like a pimple, if you want.”

“Ah, so I see. Well, apologies about your brunch, though it shouldn’t be me apologizing.” It should be Magneto for coming to the institute and disturbing their peace. Charles you really need to control your friend, he thought to himself, not really caring if the other heard him or not. “I rather you didn’t do that, I don’t want to scare the students more than necessary.” Especially because he was protecting the younger ones who he pushed into a nearby classroom, poor things “Could you do me a favor and just transport the body elsewhere? Just off the institute’s grounds.”
