For my birthday

So here is part of my wishlist…

Um…Please don’t feel inclined to buy me anything. It’s really just a list of things I may or may not buy overtime with my own money, but I would be very happy receiving gifts this year for my birthday. It’s mostly just jewelry and clothes and accessories! Nothing too expensive save for somethings here and there. 

Mun’s birthday is five days away and I have been so mixed up in a lot of things that I hadn’t even noticed the date! Go figure my silly butt would do something so dumb! Haha! It’s actually really embarrassing when you think about it, but after 25 years, things just don’t matter as much anymore. It’s all about the kids really! Plus things like clothes and such are appreciated.

Just remember, don’t feel inclined to buy anything! I’m probably going to be working on my birthday anyway, so I’ll probably celebrate early on Wednesday or on Sunday afternoon after the fact because of my schedule!

Any gifts received will be opened and placed in a video that I will release probably at the end of this month in case things come late. Anything after that, I’ll put in a separate video and post it as well!

"I'll have you know, you villainous curr, that I shall not stand for such vile behavior. Now then; let us engage in fisticuffs!!!" Chronometrophobia yelled, the clock hands on his back turning and moving the gear platforms to break the path to him.

Leif bit his lip. This was his first solo mission without Vince and he was terrified. Up to know, he was doing pretty well, but the phobia itself was one he had not faced before. He clenched his fist before he prepared himself, his bracers glowing a bright green before taking form over his wrists. He smiled as he prepared for the fight. “You’re about to get blasted!”

LadyVince let out a whistle, taking a picture on her mobile phone of the beautiful scene of Leif punching the phobia in the face. “I’m sending this to my other half~” She mused, sending it to Vince via Text with the comment ‘Kid’s first day <3′

The phobia fell to the ground, unconscious from the harsh hit. LadyVince made her way over to  Leif, petting his head. 

“Nice job, dude… I’ll take care of him while you go help the kid…” She said, pointing to the gears that had moved into a path. “See ya at the hub world… or whatever you call it…”

Leif blinked when LadyVince started patting his head. He looked over at her before looking at where she was pointing. Nodding, he made his way up to the gears. He made his way to the child with a smile as he comforted them and began to sing to them to ease their mind. Having gotten them comfortable enough, he assured the child that everything would be okay. He smiled when the child fell asleep. He was proud of himself. It was his first day, but he felt pretty good.

Vince blinked as he got the message and smiled. Looked like Leif was doing just fine on his own...well, his counterpart must’ve shown up because it looked like things were going well.

“That was kinda funny…” LadyVince snickered behind her hand, pulling a tennis racket from her back and hitting a gear away with it. The phobia sent out more beams and debris at them. Soon, his clock hands were stuck again, and the mouse tried frantically to fix them.

Leif dodged the debris and beams and came in for a close strike this time, seeing his chance. He cocked his fist back again before throwing a rather violent haymaker to strike at the phobia’s weak spot, his eyes bright and dangerous. 

“Looks like it’s time to come down, Chronometrophobia!”

“One more time should do it~” She mused, dodging a gear thrown at her by flipping away. “You’re doing alright, blondie~”

“Thank you! I had a great teacher” He dodged another gear as it was thrown at him. His eyes seemed to glow with an intense sense of awareness. His canines were rather sharp, much like a tiger. He kept close to Chronometrophobia, but not close enough to be hit easily.

“Oh, you should watch out for the-” She flinched, watching the bell hit Leif in the face. “Oooh….. you okay?” She asked over the guffaws the phobia let out.

Leif was hit pretty hard, that intense air flickering out as he held his face. He groaned. That hurt a lot more than he thought it would. He frowned as he stood up, not saying anything before he grit his teeth. 

“Yeah, hah, so funny” He growled as he prepared his gauntlets again. “Youre going to regret laughing at me, little mouse!”

“The pattern changes thr more you hit him~” She hinted, Vogue-ing gracefully away from the beam shot at her. The clock hands went to 3 and 9, shooting a beam before switching again to a different formation. “You should hit him right about….. now…” She said, watching Leif dodge a blast.

He slid to a halt as he drew his fists back, swiftly forcing them forward to trigger round after round from a respectable distance, the shots glinted a bright green as they reached their target.

“No problemo, blondie~” She sang, ignoring the phobia’s pained cry. “Also, this battle’s gonna get harder…” She added, grabbing him and hopping over a beam the mouse sent at them.

“Now the gloves are off!” Chronometrophobia yelled, moving his clock hands and sending another attack.

Leif gasped as he was grabbed, barely dodging a beam. When their feet landed on the ground, he side jumped the next attack, making an attempt to close the gap between the two of them to wait for the gears to get stuck. He drew his fists back every once in a while to send out shots from his shot gauntlets, eyes sharp as he kept an eye on the hands of the clock. 

“Good, because the gloves were already off from the get go!”

Last time it was after the hands moved from three and nine. Could it happen again?

The phobia growled, turning around in time and holding his forearm up to block the other. “Now now, dear boy… no need to be so forward.” He mocked, pulling him before punching him rather hard. Using the dreamscaper’s distractiob to his advantage, the mouse hopped away quickly, leaping over gears before landing gracefully on the side Leif once occupied. The clock hands moved to 3 and 9, ahoothing another horizontal beam at him. Before he could move them again, The gears on his back got stuck.

“Oh, stuff and fluff!” The phobia growled, never swearing as he was a gentleman. “I really must fix this…” He muttered, not noticing the new figure that had appeared next to the dreamscaper.

“Word of advice?” LadyVince mused as she walked up and aimed a slingshot at the mouse’s back when the phobia turned around. “Be patient and wait until his gears get stuck~” She suggested, letting the heart-shaped grenade fly and hit the phobia. “Yo, wassup! Name’s LadyVince; it’s a long story concerning glitches. How you doing?”

Leif gasped as he missed the strike. He was grasped and hit hard, draining some of his health. Dazed and confused, he tried to snap out of it only to barely dodge the horizontal beam that came at him. He clenched his fists and froze when he heard the voice beside him. 

He looked over and blinked before watching her strike the Phobia with her slingshot. Blinking, he nodded before he straightened up, “I-I’m Leif...Um, I would be better if I could get this guy down. Thank you for the advice, LadyVince.” He nodded.

The phobia sneered, moving the clock hands to 2 and 10. A white beam shot out, making an arc and shooting it outward. If Leif didn’t jump, it would surely hurt him. A young dreamscaper wouldn’t defeat him so easily…

Green orbs widened as he watched the arch of white. He jumped out of the way. barely dodging the strike. His eyes were focused, but he was still a little scared.

So, the clock hands on his back must decipher the attack. I’ll have to keep a close eye on that too.

He made his way forward, jumping from gear to gear, trying to get close enough to strike.

The hands shifted to 11 and 1, shooting a straight beam at the platform he was on.

“You, sir, are rude! How dare you just waltz in here and ruin my lovely machines! I’ll have you know I have worked tediously on them, making them perfect so they could produce only the loveliest Tick Tocks!” He exclaimed, moving his clock hands to 7 and 5, shooting another beam. “The perfection of the metronome! The perfect do and mi notes they hit! Ah, what splendor~ I don’t expect an uncultured swine like YOU to understand its beauty….” He scoffed.

He jumped to the next and kept moving. He frowned as he listened to the mouse complain, but he kept moving. It was obvious that this was going to end on a good note or a bad one. He slid under the last one before picking up a bit of speed, sliding into position as he drew his right fist back, cocking the shotgun mechanic before swinging, his eyes sharp.

“Tick on this!”

Alright. So, this was weird.

Charles fiddled nervously, pressing the ‘Who are you?’ option.

"Okay…"

“I’m Leif Ariden from a place I like to call City Dreamscape. I’m a rookie who helps children overcome their fears. Everyone has a fear that they must face. It’s my job to help them so they can rest peacefully at night. Is there something else I can teach you?” The questions returned to the side of the screen. The question ‘Who are you?’ was now faded out.

There *flops* Their all colored! Uh, the first one is one I did late last night before bed. It is what his design might wind up being in the future. As for his suit. I haven’t gotten that far yet because I can’t draw bodies yet. I’m great at head shots though!

So, the top two are out of work, the other two are while he’s in children’s dreams. So....yeah! Have my artwork that is mildly crummy! I’m working very hard to get better though!

Completing the Stages

The way that Leif completes stages is by seeking out sound bits of the lullaby. At the end, the player must put the notes in order so that Leif will sing. If the notes are in the wrong position, it will gain a sour note from Leif who looks confused before the sound set is brought up again.

He blinked before he scratched the back of his head, an awkward chuckle. “I-I don’t know about that. I’m a dreamscaper but I still have my own fear that I can’t get over. Do you have any fears, Vince?”
