Q. Can I get permission to translate Hetalia World ☆ Stars from English into a different language?
A. Please feel free to retranslate our scanlations into another language as long as you (1) credit us and link back to the respective posts (2) don’t make any money out of the scanlations (this includes ad revenue). Enjoy!
Q. Can I get permission to use images from your scanlations for graphics?
A. The images belong to Himaruya, we only ask for credit and link back when our scanlation is used in the graphic.
Q. [Historical Character] wasn’t some cutesy, goofy character! They were terrible and did horrible things!
A. Hetalia is first and foremost a comedy series. It isn’t meant to be a 100% accurate retelling of history; the series simply delivers fun facts and ‘did you know?’ type trivia. Please do not use Hetalia as a serious source for studying history. ...Please.

A game where the Hetalia crew tells stories that seem scary but aren't really.
For the 20th anniversary of Hetalia, here's our full remake and translation of the Hetalian Horror Show! It is currently available for modern Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
It is now also available to play in your browser!
The game itself can be read in less than 2 hours and is very linear, with only once choice leading to either a 'good' or 'bad' end.
Please do not repost the game without permission.

General game tips:
From the in-game menu or from the main menu, click the "?" on the bottom left to view the new 'misc' menu
While in-game, selecting the "X" icon will hide the user interface
Tips for PC and Mac versions:
While in-game, right click or press the escape key will show the in-game menu.
From the in-game menu or from the main menu, click the "?" on the bottom left and then click "Help" to view a list of keybinds for the game.
If you turn on the "Skip unread text" option in the options submenu of the "?" misc menu, you can skip through the game really quickly by either pressing skip or holding down the control key.
Tips for Android version:
Google is implementing changes that will make directly installing apps on Android more difficult, so if the Android version fails to install, try enabling Developer Mode on your device.
While in-game, selecting the "System" icon will open the in-game menu

When you reach the only player choice selection:
If you select "Let things take their course", this is the 'good end' and all the mind control stuff is revealed to have just been a movie script.
If you select ''I'll stop him", this is the 'bad end.' The player sees Bulgaria wake up to find out that Russia has kidnapped him, tied him up, and stripped him naked. (Bulgaria is shown in a fetal position with his legs drawn up close to his body, such that none of his private parts are shown. Only the side of his butt and a bit of the crack is visible.) However, in the end, Bulgaria says "This is actually a pretty sweet deal!"
The Hetalian Horror Show Remake: Pre-Release Livestream with Dev Commentary

With the 20th anniversary approaching, we've decided to pay homage to the livestreams of hetascanlations' past by hosting a pre-release livestream of our Hetalian Horror Show remake! There will be a full playthrough of the English translation of the remake, with a showcase of the new features and general dev commentary by @eosonera.
The game itself will be released the day after to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hetalia, on the 6th of July.
The game contains some content that may be unsuitable for viewers under the age of 16, so viewer discretion is advised.
A link to the livestream will be posted to this blog 30 minutes prior to the showing.
Hey Hetascanlations? Are the rumors true that Hetalia is possibly ending? Many people say that in the Hetalia World Stars Shonen Jump website, is it marked as complete. This has never happened before, and everyone freaked out. I thought it was just on hiatus 😔😔
We won't be able to know for certain until the 6th of July 😅
Personally, I don't think that Hetalia will be ending. In the past, it has gone on quite a lot of breaks, including a 2-year-long hiatus from 2018 to 2021. Another hiatus is possible, or it could be moving from Jump to another publication. But it really is still one of the most popular entries in the 'otome'-ish market, so I don't really see it coming to a definitive end anytime soon.
Quick question regarding the 20 Years Of Hetalia post, does this mean that MMD animations of Hetalia wouldn't count either because it's using models by other people that made them based on the characters from the animated series? Just a query.
If the authors of the models and the motion data are okay with other people using their models and motion to make videos, I think it should be fine!
Mostly, I just want to discourage people from just reposting pieces of visual art that they did not make themselves or that are not official Hetalia art.
Wait okay, silly question but I assume something like an animatic to music would be considered copyrighted material right? It should be as close to us created as possible correct? For the event that is. Thank you for the idea tho!!!
I honestly hadn't thought of that! I think in today's media landscape, pretty much all musicians/music producers are fine with people using their music for things like fan edits. So making an animatic, using your own art or official Hetalia art, but with music you didn't make yourself should be fine, unless the authors of the songs in question have explicitly stated otherwise.
Hetalia will be turning 20 on the 6th of July 2026!! The bidecennial anniversary of our beloved series is fast approaching, and, similar to the decennial anniversary event we held in the past, we at Hetascanlations would like to organize another unofficial hashtag event to celebrate!

do you know if theres anyone trying to make an english patch of the Hetalia Gakuen games? if not, do you atleast know where i can read the english translation? sorry to bother you but i am at my wits end trying to find this
Hi! I'm not aware of any English translation of the full Gakuen Hetalia game, but Hetarchive does have some of the demo translated here.
Please do not treat this as an official announcement... I don't want to promise anything concrete, but I have considered making a remake and translation of Gakuen Hetalia our next side project once we finish off the other side projects in the queue. It would still be a long way off, since I would prefer having more translators and I would need to learn to reverse engineer the game files or find someone who knows how.
