i. intro — just your name/alias, timezone, and a little more about you
hi! i’m jess! i’m turning 23 in...oh, five hours or so and i’m from est. i am a canadian, living in ontario, but am currently doing some work in florida, so yes, i am here for the US election, and a little scared about the aftermath. i recently graduated from university in june for film studies, and i’m just talking a year or so off to make some money so i can go back to actual film school. it’s been a long time since i’ve been on this particular account; i’ve been roleplaying on and off for four years, but this account has really been left on the wayside, so i just recently updated it (literally half an hour ago).
ii. your netflix list — what’s your recently watched/to watch/absolute favorite shows or films?
oh i am an avid tv watcher. i have watched so much television or have so many shows on my to-watch shows. i highly doubt i’ll get to many of them. the most recent show i watched was gilmore girls, though. on my to watch list includes breaking bad, the walking dead, dexter, and the 100. i have watched almost all the cw shows currently airing, i have watched a lot of crime/doctor shows, and anything that is intelligently written is a must for me. this is us is probably my new favourite show, followed by pitch. also, embarrassing fact, but i am a big brother fan (the only “reality” tv show i watch) and am currently watching the new big brother over the top so that takes up quite a bit of my time lately when i’m not working.
iii. sweet or salty — what’s your favorite snacks?
salty all the way. popcorn and chips are my jam. i only really like sweet things in small doses. for example, i usually can’t eat a whole slice of cake so birthday parties are pretty tough when the dessert comes around.
iv. your character type — what’s your favorite type of character to play?
i think i mostly am drawn to characters more like me. quiet, sweet, but with a little bit of a backbone from time to time. i also am drawn to the oddballs. i do love playing the villains and the tough characters, though. it can be so fun to be sociopathic and ruthless when i get the chance.
v. what did you see? — if you blacked out and saw your future for four minutes… what would you see?
i see myself probably in film school, or trying to apply for film school. i see myself finally putting myself out there and doing the things that i want to do without my anxiety holding me back. yeah, eventually, i will get to that point.

well, i am currently torn between two character skeletons so it’ll be a few more days before i officially send in an application. one of them i created psd’s for (a rare time for me to do it, and also without actual photoshop but some free version of editors; they are not good) but i don’t have a good bio, and the other i have the bio almost complete but have no psd’s! but i will probably apply for both and hope i get one of them! by the way, the skeletons are 2004 and 0905, so yeah! super looking forward to being part of this rp!
