He/it, Canadian. I have had anxiety since I was young, (Diagnosed in my pre-teens) & I run another officalverse blog already; @jackfrost-offical (it never lets me tag myself I don't know why lmao)

Okay; so without revealing too much personal info, I'm suppose to graduate mid June. However, because of my health and poor time magment, I'm sort of at risk of failing. But, after probably too much time planning and calculating, I will be fine as long as I really lock in.

So to do that, I'm taking a break for social media. I spent far too much time online (mainly Tumblr and YouTube), and as much as absolutely love the communities I'm apart of here online, I need to accept that I need to focus on other things and come back after I've gotten through all this. When I have more time.

So I'll be off Tumblr for the next while, till about mid June most likely (give or take). All four of my blogs will be inactive with the exception of @bingofromthehip

I will still be making/providing bingo cards, for those who request for both the main event and the pride event (likely with a slightly longer wait time, focus on the pride event as it's a limited time thing) but I won't be rebloging any works until I return.

So uh starting in like 24 hours from now (I'll post something when I'm actually logging off), if you see me doing anything on here that isn't sending people bingo cards, this is blanket permission for anyone and everyone to yell at me!!!

I just watched this video recently, and this conversation really stuck with me. Do you remember the Mythbusters (I think?) line that was something like "The only difference between screwing around and science is writing it down," because this feels very similar to me. Like, the only difference between screwing around and performance art (or art in general) is an audience. And that audience can be anyone, from one friend who happened to be with you to a dozen people around a campfire to hundreds of people in a theater to thousands of people online.

So yeah, be cringe and goofy and childish, and share it with whoever you'd like. Make art.

heard we were venting in asks

i’m suicidal again! met with my therapist today though & that helped a lot. i will make it through this term. i will outlive jkr. i will outlive trump. i swear to you & anyone else who sees this, i will be here when this ends. as long as it is within my control, i will be here after everything.

I remember near the beginning of this mess, I was scrolling and clicked on the comments of this one post. It said something to the effect of, "I'm a trans teenager seeing how much the world hates me, I'm thinking about killing myself, that'll show the government"

Obviously that's not what it said literally but that was the effect

Anyway, I sent them an ask from my personal account letting them know that they mattered and things would improve. They never answered it. And I still think about them sometimes.

I love DND so much, so my current campaign has 6 players, 3 guys and 3 girls (only genderqueer person is me, the DM). For characters, we also have 3 guys and 3 girls, but 2 guy players and playing girl characters and 2 girl players and playing guy characters.

This is pretty on par for our group (and DND as whole) though we did find it a little funny this was the campaign so many people decided to play a different gender, as this is our fifth campaign together.

This also led to a funny moment at the end of Friday's session (that will lead into next week's I'm sure) of two girl characters and a NPC deciding to go on a "girls day," which above table was two cis dudes and a genderqueer dude roleplaying that out.

I was rewatching Episodes 1 & 2 of the Min-Maxed RPG D&D Campaign just for fun, and watched a random episode of Fire Country (think that's what it's called) with my mum. Since I'm sick, I'll get very focused on watching one thing, and this time it's been Charriii5's Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario video!

I HIGHLY recommend giving compliments to random strangers.

Not, like, fake compliments or randomly giving scrounged up compliments to everyone you pass in the street, but -- say you see someone with an article of clothing you really really like. Cool accessories or a great haircut or something. Tell them.

I told an old woman yesterday that I liked her blouse. It was this super pretty white-at-the-top-floral-at-the-bottom shirt which was really lovely. So i backtracked where I'd walked past her and I said "excuse me - i love your shirt." And this harried, stressed-looking 80-something year old brightened up immediately, and beamed, and then when she and I headed off in separate directions, she had a pep in her step.

This other time I told a woman that I liked her boots. She gave me a company name thats since become my favourite brand of shoes. I told someone else that her scarf was cute and she was like "do you like it? Here, you can have it," and she dropped her scarf in my hands and then got on her train and left. I once saw a woman who had clearly put effort into her outfit that day but was now looking harried and frazzled as she wrangled four children across the road, and I told her that her outfit was gorgeous and she lit up like a christmas tree. I told a gay man that I loved his whole look once and he turned into a smiling, blushing mess as his super delighted and proud boyfriend was like "yea, he DOES look gorgeous doesnt he?"

If you see someone with something compliment-worthy going on, don't hold back. What's the point? Ive never once had a bad response to giving a compliment to a stranger. Everyone to a tee has been absolutely thrilled to receive a surprise compliment about their outfit or their make up or their shoes or their vibe or etc. Give out compliments to random strangers. Its free, and it'll make their whole day.

Celebrated my birthday with my friends today and I'm low-key crying over their gifts (/pos)

J - Got me yarn, both my favourite brand and in two colours I use often.

M - Also got me yarn, also my favourite brand and a colour I use often, as well as my favourite chocolate bar.

G - A really cool bookmark and one of those 3-1 LEGO sets, the spider, scorpion, snake one.

V - Candy I like, two pokemon card packs and two homemade pokemon card packs with old cards of his that were silly/he thought I'd like.

S - Said she was making me something that wasn't done, but didn't want to show up empty handed and brought a case of my favourite sparkling water.

A - Three rubber ducks she painted/customized to be my favourite NPCs in our DND campaign.

It just sort of hit me, how personal these gifts felt from people I've known for about 4-5 years <3 I couldn't ask for better friends
