She settled next to him easily and pulled out her notebook. âI spent my entire first day here at the library, detailing everything I could find. I have a back to the front page on every sector with a map and these Pokemon creatures and the riskier⊠odd beings that I have never heard of. Iâve been weighing the safety of each area and to judge my own survival rating.â She leaned over the page.
âNot only are people from other worlds gathered but the same people from other timelines can be found. It seems like anyone can find someone they may know. Iâve met two people who have been here for three years.â She confessed. âThere also seems to be no age limit, nor any limit on the morals of people who come together.â
He'd personally been standing, and placed his hand on the small table in front of her leaning on it. His eyes look between her and the notebook in her hand. "I recall when I was here in the past I spent my first day looking around and meeting strangers. It was a way to analyze the different type of people here. I faintly have memory of a "Pokemon". I'm not sure what that is, it wasn't in my world." How curious that she seemed to have so many different notes.
"Really? So not only do these scientists posses the abilities to take people from different universes and worlds of their own and place them into one large location. They also are able to bring the same people from other timelines? Without somehow causing a Paradox that could very well destroy this entire city?" He pauses, using his free hand to push up his glasses. "No age limit. They'll take five year old children is what you're saying?"
psychic-mediocrity
The eye-patch is what caught his attention towards the stranger. He saw her as he had walked passed her. He'd then proceeded to turn on his heel and follow her. Curiosity seemed to have him more and more in this place. He reached a hand over silently, and gently tapped her on the shoulder before silently waiting for a response. Or at least, for her to turn around so that he could start speaking.

Gara gave a chaste snort and stuck out his tongue at the manâs words, finding nothing insulting about them whatsoever. He was right, he did use another means to get back at him.
âDonât you get it, you plebeian? I donât give a ratâs ass how dishonorable or pathetic my tactics are. The point being that Iâm trying to make here? Iâm a low, dirty, petty little kid. Iâll take you out by whatever means I want, I donât give a shit about disgrace!â
There was never an issue with agreeing with others. He was as underhanded as they came, doing anything and everything to get back at the people who have pissed him off out of petty spite. Two and a half years of spiraling downward into insanity would do that to a person, especially one at such a young and impressionable age.
He reached down and took a handful of red tresses between gloved fingers, taking note of every inch of pained expression in the green eyed manâs face.
âWhen you swung at me⊠I could have easily ducked and jammed a scalpel right into your rib cage. You were blinded by rage, and therein lies your biggest mistake. Which was, actually, fucking with me in the first place.â
In one fluid motion, he pushed the manâs head downward and slammed his face right into the concrete of the sidewalk before letting go and standing, then placing his foot atop of his upper back. Astounding how the magnetic field had no affect on him, no?
âSo, whatâll it be now? Beg for mercy! Apologize! You got yourself into this mess, you fool.â
Touching. Richter hated to be touched by people that he did not trust. Especially when people touched his hair. It gave him horrible memories. Memories of when he was younger, when they took him away from the family he couldn't even remember the faces of. But he remembers what they did.
He could hear Gara, but he couldn't see him. His vision had blurred itself for a moment and instead of the green-haired menace he only saw the people of his past. Blurred faces of someone holding on to his hair. Keeping it up while his small child-like body was in pain.
Snapping back to reality only just before his face was slammed into the ground. He'd heard the words of the other just before he did it to. How he could have dodged and jammed a scalpel into him. The red-haired adult wonders if it would actually be a better feeling than all this pressure on his body. Then again, depending on where he was stabbed it could cause severe internal damage for him.
It's faint, but there is a small cry of pain when his face was slammed into the concrete. That hurt. A lot. And he wasn't surprised in the least when he could feel the blood dripping down his face.
Mentally he's trying to figure a way out of this. So that he didn't feel this incredible pressure and weight on his body. It was still so difficult to breathe. It hurt but he didn't care, well he did but he can't show it. He already let his cry, he wasn't going to let another out knowing it bring too much satisfaction to the other.
Beg? In this one simple moment he remembered something that he once told someone who seemed to look up to him. Who was kind and believed in him when he didn't care. Or acted like he didn't. 'So tell me, are you a dog? Or are you really a man?' His own words seeming to come back to haunt him. However, he would stick by them even now.
"I...Will not...Grovel...And beg...Like..A dog...I am...No dog... You... disgusting... child...Rot...In...Niflheim.."

Emil, for the first time in a while wasnât in a rush like he was for the past few months. As a result his pace went to a more leisurely fashion as the temperature was at a âdecently coolâ for the time. Eyes slightly lidded in a sense of security, they snapped opened as his left hand went to his longsword when someone suddenly grabbed his arm- and nearly gasped.
âR-Richter?!â Its been so long and his heart was pounding a mile a minute trying to calm down from the unexpected adrenaline rush caused by the red-haired man.
âY-You scared me so suddenly with thatâŠâ Though he was a bit confused over how confused(?) he looked. He knew personally how jarring it was being forced back to a place butâŠ.never has he seen it so openly with his friend. To be honestly, he didnât exactly remember when the last time they interacted in this city.Â
âIâŠdonât know. I think it was possibly around the Fall season? After so many months itâŠsometimes blurs together.â
Richter nods as the other said his name, it was indeed. Emil was definitely still Emil. Stuttering and having pauses between his words, the Emil he knew for sure. How could it be another one anyways? Only one blood with green eyes who was still alive knew that he was here. Well, knew that he was here now. Or knew of his existence in the first place.
"I lost composer for a moment, no need to dwell on it Emil. It happened for only a short moment." Back to his old ways, small smile gone as he once again returned to his cold and serious expression.
Fall season? He lifts his head up and looks around, it's clearly Summer. Many months and seasons would have passed if it was all the way then. Wait a moment, how was that possible? Emil was still there when he was taken from his world. How could Emil have been here that long? His memory was too faulty to properly recall.
"Fall season? Months? Emil how long have you been here? I swore you were still trying to stop me when I was suddenly taken away and place here."

Venturing around and exploring seemed to be what Nerua has been doing a lot lately. This city still confused her and seeing as how she had a lot of free time on her hands lately, sheâd been trying to figure out places. When she had been called out, she snapped out of her current thoughts, putting on a bright smile. Maybe this was a chance to help someone out and put her skills to use!
â Itâs no problem, sir! You arenât disturbing me! How can I assist you?â
She had a sense of formality towards her. Calling him sir? Even using the word assist? Most here just seemed to say help or just told him or others to just go away. He was a bit startled by the kindness and seeming cheerfulness from her. Yet at the same time, he had gotten used to it because of those he knew from his world. Plus it was a nice change of pace from everyone around here that was just mean and he hated.
"I'm curious, are you by chance a Knight of some sort?"
disgracxd:
âIn my world, nearly everyone has a talent. theyâre called a semblance. Let me guess. Youâre trying to pick apart why certain people are chosen to be brought into a place like this?â She watched the other and smiled slightly. She liked a clever man, to be honest. People with brains were so much more easy to get along with.
âI must say I have met many, many people with extraordinary skill sets, and those who hold none whatsoever. Â It seems like just anyone can be brought to this place by the whims of those above us.â
"Yes actually, I'm surprised that you managed to figure out what I was thinking. I'm guessing that I am not the only one that is attempting to analyze the ways of things around this place." He looked her up and down, he hadn't expected someone to know what he had been thinking. Could she perhaps match his level of intelligence? What an interesting female this would be.
"Personally my memory is faulty at the moment. From what I can recall I have met many people have that some abnormal sets of skills to them. I haven't met any with none, says my memory. However, if it's just anyone why do they seem to want so many people from so many different words? It can't be just anyone, there has to be a reason why some of us are taken, and some of us are even returned to our world. Give up on. There must be a deeper meaning to this than a social experiment."
stardeityzodiac:
As the man removed his glasses to show that behemothâs angry stare did Gara poke his lips out teasingly, a condescending âooooOOoooooh,â sliding past them with gloved hands at his hips now.
Unfortunately for this unsuspecting miscreant, Doctor Gara had a trump cardâ quite literallyâ that had been stalking the shadows the moment the two bumped into each other. It wasnât that he couldnât defend himself against this personâs onslaught of angry attacks, but just watching him squirm and struggle made things all the better.
When he was pushed into his vehemently vicious and angry zone, his psychological state twisted and left him a shell of an insane man. He would do the pettiest, lowliest things in order to make his victim suffer a fate worse than death, and the poor bastard swinging that wooden sword at him was about to get a taste of a true hell he wasnât prepared for today.
            âZodiacâŠ.â
In-coming came the weapon, and just before it hit Garaâs face, the boyâs fingers snapped.
âGRAVITY REST!â
Upon command like a veil of fluorescent purple lightning which rained down upon him, the gravity around the red headed one became increasingly heavyâ to the point that his body couldnât withstand it, causing him to crumple to the ground. No human, monster, nothing could withstand Star Deity Dragon, Zodiacâs Buddy Skill. The large dragon had been stationed atop a building over head, waiting patiently for itâs masterâs orders.
The magnetic field served as Richterâs bone-crushing prison, and the young doctor knelt before him.
âKyahahahaha! Oh Iâm sorry, were you going to teach me a lesson just now? Not that I donât need this to kick your ass, but⊠you should see the look on your god damn face!â
He was just about to hit the other. He was so close to this assholes face. He wouldn't have mind, nor did he care that he had aimed for a different target than originally planned. Perhaps a good hit to the face would be perfect to knock some sense into this kid. Or, if things had actually gone as planned.
âGRAVITY REST!â
What did that even mean? Richter didn't have much time to think on it when the area around him became so heavy. It was growing on his already weak body, and he couldn't help but drop to the ground. Wooden weapon fell out of his hands and made a noises as they hit ground. He couldn't even stay on his knees it was too much pressure on his body. What was this?!
He hadn't experienced anything like this before, he was on his hands and knees for only a short amount of time. Gravity rest...That's what the other called before this increasing pressure. His arms gave out and he knees couldn't take it. He falls to laying on his side. His chest feels heavy, everything feels heavy. If only he had..
"..Aqua.."
It was barely audible, nearly impossible to speak due to the difficulty in breathing. How could one kid have this much power?
'If only I had the power of the Demonic Realm with me, this kid would be down in a flash.'
The half-elf hated this, he hated this heavy feeling and he hated the taught that calm with it. His chest felt as if someone was piling tons of metal on it. His scars from fighting Ratatosk ached, and his scars from whatever ate him last time hurt too. Everything hurt, but he wouldn't let pain consume his mind. If he did that it would be more proof that he was weak and couldn't hold his own in a fight. He knew he could, he'd done it before. He'd killed a Summon Spirit, something that wasn't Mortal at all.
Green eyes landed on the green-haired kid kneeling before him. He bared his teeth in anger. His glasses hand fallen off when he'd fallen to his knees, so his vision was blurry but he could see the amusement on the kids face.
He wasn't going to let him win that easily. Yes it hurt, yes it was heavy and yes it was extremely hard to breathe. Yes, every second was like a gasp for air because he just wanted to breathe properly. But he was going to speak anyways.
"Can't...Even..Do it... Yourself... Have.. To... Use... Other.. Means... You... Are... Just.. Pathetic.. And....Disgraceful..."
@knightofkindness
As he's walking rather slowly by he barely even notices who he's walking past. Just a swift glimpse, the blonde is what catches his attention. He stops and promptly turns on his heel grabbing the arm of the one who he just barely walked past. His eyes had widened and he stares for a moment. He thought...No, it wouldn't be him.
That turned out to be true. It wasn't who he thought it was. Ah yes, he knows exactly who this is. Slowly he lets go of the boy and instead pushes up his glasses. For just that moment had he lost his composure but regained it almost as quickly as he had lost it. He has to understand that this is not who he wants it to be.
He lets out a small sigh before looking at the green-eyed male. He has a soft smile on his lips, barely noticeable yet also extremely noticeable. After all, Richter did not smile often. He opens his mouth and calmly speaks to the other.
"Hello again Emil..Well, er..Did we interact last time I was here? I can't fully remember, but I will say it is good to see a familiar face from my world."
He doesn't fully remember. The different timelines, he isn't aware. For some reason he can't remember that information. His mind says he's seen Emil here before, but did they actually talk? If so, what could it have been about? He can't remember.

[[ Why thank ya, it's obvious when your muse absolutely hates another muse you make a meme out of it. ]]
[[ I spent like twenty minutes makin' this dumbass meme just to express what exactly just happened between Dr.Gara and Richter. I thought I'd share. ]]
stardeityzodiac:
This. Fucker.
This was why people should never label a person by their age or size, considering Gara put away knowledge that would have him in the standing with the highest ranking scientists in this place.
The man continued to belittle and underestimate the young prodigyâ which tapped into the darkest depths of his anger, his fangs glistening as those lips stretched into the widest grin he could pull off.
Doctor Gara may not have been looking for a fight before all of this started, but this guy⊠this inconvenience brought out the carnivorous unadulterated evil that lurked inside his little child heart.
âI donât respect adults who look like they carry around a brain the size of a pebble and functions worse than a limp, wet noodle.â He would show this petty fool what-for. If only he would be brave enough to attack.
âIâm not scared of you, and like hell am I walking away from someone who picked the fight first, thinking he ran into some little kid who ainât worth a damn. You scared, Red? Afraid to get your ass beat down by a fucking 14 year old? Huh?â
It. Was. On.
He's growing and angrier and angrier. This broccoli colored freak is trying to be top gun. Like he knows everything about everyone and it's extremely aggravating to see. He's just a kid, a kid who thinks he can have the world wrapped around his finger.
Enough to insult the half-elves intelligence? He's been a researcher since he was younger than this idiot. Forced into or not, he was taken due to his high intelligence and yet this one kid dares to challenge him? If it was a challenge he wanted, it was a challenge he was going to get.
The red-head was absolutely done, he removed his glasses completely. Glaring. Pure rage in his eyes, almost as if they were lightly on fire. The rage of this half-elf was not one to be messed with. Or challenged.
"Perhaps. You shouldn't judge someone by their cover. Did you say 14? You're a bit late to the party there kid." He put his glasses back on, pushing them up to just the perfect spot to see out of yet eyes still looking like they held a flame.
"I'm not scared of a pathetic, worthless, idiot child who thinks they know everything. You are nothing compared to what I have seen and what I have fought. How. About. A. Taste?"
He growls out the last parts as of his sentence as he pulls the wooden weapons out of their holsters. He doesn't even hesitate a moment to start running at the kid. Arm already lifting in the air as he's preparing to swing the sword. Just enough to hit the other in the legs to knock him down. If he hits.
disgracxd:
âMy name is Weiss, itâs a pleasure to meet you as well?â
She prompted the other gently. She perked up about hearing about leaving and the effect it would have, slotting that into her memory to make a note of in her notebook. Â More and more information that she needed to know, dug from the mines of others time here!
"Ah yes, Abend. The name is Abend."
His head tilts downwards every so slightly. He's thinking back into his memory. The name definitely as no familiarity to it. She is very much new to him meeting her. This was good, it would help him continue to gather more information on the types of people those scientists chose to pick from. For a moment lost in his own thoughts before looking at her again.
"Strange question, do you have any abnormal abilities in your world? Something a normal human wouldn't be able to do?"
4ourleafclover:
{đ} Clover raised an eyebrow- in her time since coming here, sheâd ran into a good few people. It took her some time, she crossed her arms and squinted- until it eventually came back to her.Â
âOh yeah, youâre that guy.â Waving it off, Clover shrugged. âIâm still hardly happy about this situation. But Iâve found a few people I know, so itâs not as bad as being alone.â
So his memory was correct, he did indeed know who this female was. However, she seemed not to care as much about him even standing by her. The perfect attitude for someone that has been here for a while indeed. He wasn't surprised by being waved off in the slightest.
"The name is Abend." He'd rather be referred to by his last name if he could. "I sure anyone here isn't happy about being here. But did I not tell you you were just going to have to get used to it? I'm assuming you have."
@ninthextricationâ
Oddly enough he has forgotten what he was just running away from. But whatever it was it was weakening him. Probably from his bodies wounds from his world and when he was eaten the last time he was here. Who ate him again? No need for that type of thinking at the moment, especially since oddly enough the thought made his eyes burn as if he was going to start crying.
He continues to run, before jumping towards a wall and using his foot to quickly bounce off of it. He ignores the pain this causing his body as he lands on top of a trash bin. He quickly jumps off it and barely realizes he's just jumped over some. He slides to a stop and looks towards whoever it is with a serious look. He's panting heavily but continues to try to speak anyways.
"I don't..Remember..What I was..Running from..But..I think you..Should run.."
His body is lightly shaking from all the running, and the panting to try to catch breath. Whoever harmed him in the past did a rather large number to his body.
@amaurctic
His mind isn't in the least bit focused on his surroundings. He has no idea if he's bumped into anyone really, he's thinking about other things. His world. How badly he needs to get back. What he's been through the last time that he was in this place. The time before his memory became all over the place. It's fuzzy in certain places, he's trying to focus on something in particular. He can't. Why can't he? What is his mind not letting him remember?
As he's lost in attempting to remember thing, he runs smack into someone without even realizing. It's not till he's on the ground and his vision is blurry that he realizes he's run into someone. He puts one hand on his head, he's squinting at the ground as he moves the other to feel around for his glasses. While doing this he speaks to whoever it was.
"I wasn't paying attention, apologies."
