Akane had gotten to work early, a present in tote. In their bag was a small vase and a small bouquet of spring flowers bought on sale. They’d probably wilt pretty soon, but it didn’t really matter to Akane. It was all about the thought.

They set the arrangement up on Junpei’s desk before moving to their own desk to get their work done, in a perfect spot to watch as each co-workers trickled into the office throughout the morning. They kept an eye out for when Junpei’d find his surprise.

the routine starts same as always, he leaves his place behind the bar in order to take the stage- happens when there's no other attraction, not like it was the only reason. david, he enjoys it- and most importantly, his public enjoys it too. sometimes, poor luisa has to stay longer behind the counter just because clients ask for the encore.

and who is he to say no to them?

this is not one of those nights however, he sings two, maybe five songs and then returns to his place at the bar- setting the mic and the guitar on the stage "it's almost like you don't get tired of me, heh." he starts, before turning to look at the man in plaids.
