I have been so busy that I kind of forgot this blog existed, so that’s cool. My manuscript has gone through all its passes of editing and is now back at the publishing house, having other stuff done to it (?? getting a cover maybe? having a professional go “hmm this title is...pretty bad”??). I haven’t written anything else except professional stuff for my day job, and have been working pretty much nonstop there. I had this past weekend off though, so I spent it being asleep and/or watching the Great British Bakeoff while getting sloshed on cheap wine.

Anyway watch this space for updates on my book (novellette, technically), if I can remember to make them. For example, posting the cover when it gets made.

Old Oswestry is one of Britain’s most spectacular and impressive early Iron Age hill forts in the Welsh Marches near Oswestry. It remains one of the best preserved hill forts in the UK. Built on lower ground, it is also one of the most accessible hill forts with stunning panoramic views across North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire. It was occupied between the eighth century BC and the Roman conquest of Britain, probably by the Cornovii or Ordivice tribe.
