Sometimes after traumatic Brain injuries or traumatic events things like hand writting can be effected or speech, and Imaging Sam’s never quiet lost the bouts of writting in ancient cybertronian

You know speaking of sam is reincarnation one of original primes like optimus in IDW.

But there's different, in diw optimus was origin primes that CHOOSE to reincarnate into ordinary bot, because he want feel what's feeling walking among lower cybertron, he humbling himself. Then he gaining title primes again because he worthy.

Now different with sam, he was a corrupt original prime (he was Liege Maximus or quintesson or nova) , he got punished to be something that cybertron hate or look down the most organic / flesh , he becomes sam Witwicky. As sam well... We know sam. Then fate pulling sam into cybertron direction, of course as human he definitely no want doing anything with alien but there's something part of him like pushing him to help cybertron problem even that meant destroying himself. And well part of him that feel need help Autobots /cybertron are feeling guilty his past self . Since Primus (and other origin primes) seeing sam doing big sacrifice for greater good and change from his past life, they see him worthy to gaining title prime again (sam may or not gaining his past life memories)

im glad i made your day!! im also going lowkey crazy about sam and the bots, and im learning so much as i cautiously wade through the fandom, both in and beyond the bayverse lol tho sam is def my blorbo now

was kinda surpised to see all the sam and bayverse hate tho, i know the movies arnt the best written and bay is obviously not a good person but the movies were still enjoyable, and sam is def not as bad as people say. god forbid a character actually act like a person, exspecially someone who was traumatized as a teenager and obvi didnt get therapy, and struggle with things like, gasp, wanting to live a normal life. I have so many thoughts on him but ill not ramble lol

I get the Sam hate, he’s honestly like the lukewarmest of “heros” and I’m not going to say worse because mister, accepts the printed copy of the Romeo and Juliet law as a valid reason,

I think Sam’s a funny character to me because he’s literally the most nothing yet realest reaction haver? It would be easy if he was just a bad person, if he was selfish and never cared and did everything for the wrong reasons but they come from a very grounded take?

Family and friends threatened of course the average person is going to do as the attacker says.

Was always powerless against the government. He was just a kid and young adult withe no job security and no experience under his belt that could be applicable to a job.

But also how to do just “be normal” after a close encounter of all kinds? Real people struggle to be normal after dangerous encounters and violence at the hands of the government. Which Sam was!

It’s not normal to be held at gun point by government agencies, taken to secret prisons and harassed. Let alone when you could never have a real understanding why what is happening is happening.

ESPECIALLY AFTER ALLSPARK BRAIN FUSING!?

I do love seeing the occasional “as I get older Samual witwicky breaking down feels more relatable”

I also think about how Sam always seemed aware he couldn’t run with the autobots forever, he couldn’t fight anything, he wasn’t a genius. And for all the autobots loved and cared about him humans don’t live forever and if he didn’t have something other than the autobots he was going to have a very isolated life. Something we see kinda happen. He can’t keep relationships, he struggles with other people outside people who know about cybertronians and even then he’s an outsider to them because he’s not a government employee who only views them as a risk assessment and how to take advantage of them. He has no desire to genuinely take advantage of the bots and their relationship even when everyone told him to.

And I think it’s very scary to feel job insecurity on top of always threatened and under government control and watch.

His sarcasm and overly snarky and wordy comments are also lowkey how I joke so it’s like man, I know it’s not really funny but it’s how I make humour 😭 my friends all experience my deranged “you know what’s funny? * insert a statement that’s not at all a joke*”

I think if he and the story was written differently and he was allowed to grow or evolve his “just a guy experiencing the horrors” existence would be more enjoyable to watch then his compacting traumatic experiences effecting how he grows

Always thought there was something horrificly unsettling at the prospect of the witwicky family’s suffering genetic mental disorders due to the allspark being seared into their ancestors brain or maybe the witwicky bloodline being traceable and recognisable to Megatron as they were the first contact he had upon earth life

It was something I saw a few fics mention, or off handed comments on his family’s obsesses compulsive tendencies or eccentrisms,

But even after the Allspark “leaves him” could something so alien and heavy with knowledge and power ever just leave the squish imprintable human brain exactly as it was before coming in contact? Let alone if the human was actually 100% uneffected by mental disorders or illnesses, let alone DYING and meeting alien techno Gods like there’s a lot that could vector into it

I think it’s unintentionally fascinating how there are multiple interpretations and takes on who the first Prime was and whoever it was came to exist and then help propagate further primes,

Cause it feels like it would make sense of multiple interpretations of creation mythos based on which “god” or deity a group or following religious sect of Cybertronians or other planets primarily centered around.

The high socity Aristocratic cities and courts thinking Zeta or Prima came first, to create order or establish a new society

More constructive or architectural bots, the blue collar standing of cybertron seeing Solus as the first forge who lit the hot spots to birth more in her wake

Or Oynx Prime who’s natural instinctual Essenes is the baseline code of all creatures transformers coding built off of

And of course Quintess to outterworlds, their first Prime, who makes logical sense to be the first creation as they then make more life in their wake

Maybe all were created forged and awoken at the same time, maybe their sparks grew under primus who then set them off to be formed around at different times, when different needs arose
