Do you celebrate Christmas? If u do, what do you usually do?

Today I went to my friend’s church to see her sing, prayed a lil, met a bunch of new people, and then I did a photoshoot for her family and just hung out. Then I hung out with my awesome parents and gave them presents, and then my bandmates picked me up and we’ve been wrapping each other’s presents and hanging out with Nova’s family and eating pizza and playing music and having fun and it’s awesome so now I’m going back to it MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! ☃️ 🎄🎁🎄❤️🎄🎁🎄☃️

Has anyone ever told you you kind of favor Ariana Grande in facial features?? Because you do!! (At least to me) also, love your blog, not to be weird but I’m on a budget but I still try to emulate your outfits or buy the cheaper items you model! It’s hard finding other Black Women who are into Pastel/cute/vintage fashion who run blogs!

Oh yes I get it all the time, it’s exactly why I could never wear a high straight ponytail haha. Not weird!!!! I thrifted and sewed things together to replicate the bloggers’ outfits I followed way back before I worked!. I still always look for the budget option.So glad my blog can serve as a lil inspiration :’) Always humbled. I’m 1000% going to be listing things frequently that I wear on my blog on my depop! I just wanted to say, I love your blog and thank you for trying to represent WOC in the fashion world! x I was wondering what is it like modeling?? Thank you!

It’s very difficult if you have non-traditional runway model characteristics (beauty isn’t required). I’d never advise anyone to try becoming a fashion model unless they already had them, & even then I wouldn’t suggest it unless you absolutely love posing. I’d say explore some other options of (modeling) work. I was scouted 5 years ago as a fine art/alt model, & for me it’s always weird having others take my picture since I’m a photographer. So I know quite literally how I like to be photographed. BUT that’s never up to you & they’ll use whatever they happen to like that they get. They’ll edit it & style it however they want. Doesn’t matter if it’s not a flattering angle or you’re about to sneeze! So that can be hard to reconcile. But the photos are for their thing, & I’m being paid so!Practice makes perfect though. The best models know when to suck it in, stick it out, & have mastery over their body & expressions. The best photographers know how to capture the beautiful moments :)
