Pairing: Octane/Octavio Silva x F!Reader

Summary: Avoiding Octane has been effective until he takes advantage of you being downed to remind you about a lapse in judgement.

The smoke from the frag grenade hasn’t even cleared when you take a spray of damage to the back. Your knees buckle and you expect to hit the floor or black out completely. Instead, arms catch you and you’re quickly propped up against a wall.

“Hola, bella.”

The warm relief that flooded your body for half a second turns ice cold. You don’t need to look up to know it’s Octane, instead you look ahead at his metal legs - freshly coated in blood, likely the blood of your squad whose shooting has died out.

Black rubber boots enter your line of sight behind him as Caustic marches directly to aid Revenant nearby. You can barely move beyond nursing your wounds but it’s difficult not to take pride in the visible wires and sparks flying out of the bullet holes in Revenant’s torso.

“What are you waiting for?” Caustic asks once Revenant is upright.

“Leave this one to me, amigos.” Octane tells them, his gaze staying trained on your face.

Caustic’s eyebrows twitch behind his goggles and he looks to Revenant for confirmation. The imposing robot simply turns to the double doors - his ego clearly bruised from needing to be rescued from you by Octane. Caustic eyes you both as Octane kneels in front of you, before following Revenant out.

“I hoped you would be more excited to see me, it’s so difficult to get you alone these days,” Octane says as soon as the doors close behind them.

“Octane, this—”

“Octavio.” He interrupts, he grasps your jaw surprisingly lightly and brings your eyes to meet his goggles. “You can call me by my real name, cariño, we know each other well enough for that, don’t we?”

His thumb brushes your bloodied bottom lip and you nearly bite your tongue backing your head away from his hand.

“Always so proud, mi tigre,” He laughs but doesn’t let up. Instead, he grabs your outstretched thigh and brushes the inner side with his thumb.

“That’s enough, Octavio,” You warn, but you’re still winded so it comes out a lot more pathetic than intended.

“I like you like this,” He admits.

His voice sounds like honey and you can only imagine the smile behind his mask.

“Much more pliable than that night on Solace.”

Your face burns at the reminder of that filthy, drunken, sweaty romp you shared with Octavio months ago.

“You can’t still be going on about this,” You say, voice low and cracking. “It meant nothing.”

Octavio’s voice is a chipper lilt when he replies, “Oh, really? It meant nothing when you were coming all over my cock and begging me to put it in your—”

“Enough.” You hiss, glancing at the doors. You know from experience how surprisingly thin they are and you don’t need this getting out.

“Now, she’s embarrassed,” He coos.

You have nothing to say because it was actually four times.

You can hear the ring approaching and feel the heat of it through the wall.

“That sounds like it’s going to be sore,” Octane cringes, looking at you in pity. “Here, a parting gift for mi bella.”

He throws down a heat shield, and takes your surprise as an opportunity to steal the lightest peck before standing.

“Don’t worry, cariño, I’m going to dedicate my win to you,” He tells you as he reloads his gun, “Then I’ll come find you in the recovery ward, and we can celebrate properly.”

Octavio injects before shooting you a wink and jetting off to catch up with his squad. He’s out of sight as the ring closes around the heat shield.

“Fucking idiot,” You mutter as you initiate a self-revive with your knockdown shield which he had neglected to give you the opportunity to use.

Bangalore kind of just stands there, looking disappointed in you.

Bloodhound I know for a fact does this cute awkward little half wave and sometimes tilts their head and looks befuddled.

I ran into a friendly one the other day who was chilling on top of a vehicle.

But then Mirage’s model immediately starts FINGER GUNNING at me.
