That bimbo stoicism babushka girl on tiktok/insta has such strong Chitra energy
Real twink x handler duos are yoni consorts
I just replied to a comment on this and I feel like I have made this point before but I’ll write it out again just to be clear
The phalgunis are connected to the performance of “romance” and pleasure.
Uttaraphalguni specifically relates to choosiness in relationships. Matchmaker vibes. They choose relationships from a rational material standpoint. Is this person materially viable? Are they of good nature? Are they romantic? Will they bring me happiness and pleasure (Phalguni theme)?
It’s very important to understand “Romance” as a performance. It is material in nature
Now actually feeling love? That’s different. I mean sure it’s usually followed by romance but they aren’t the same thing. That’s emotional/spiritual in nature. Whilst UPhal is “Romance”, the opposing Nakshatras Revati and UttaraBhadrapada represent True Unconditional Love. Love that transcends the all reason.
Pisces rashi;
> exaltation of Venus
>water sign = emotional realm
>jupiter ruled = infinite forgiveness and grace
>UBP serpent/kundalini = association with deep emotional transformation (tmi to expand upon in this post)
Uphal = Matchmakers, “high value ___”, knowing your worth, having standards
UBP/Revati = Love is blind
Having nodes on this axis will make someone torn between these extremes and struggle to satisfy both
Uttara Ashadha is also a Nakshatra that is similar in that it struggles with the concept of romantic feelings as they are quite emotionally independent. When they do romantic relationships it’s more of just different category of friendship with extra expectations, rather than some super deep desire and neediness (UA opposes Pushya/Ashlesha) . UA has no yoni consort
I saw a clip of Ivy Wolk on my fyp and she said:
“I wonder who I would be if I were all of a sudden to become “girl who is in love” “girl who is married” “girl with loving boyfriend/girlfriend”, I don’t know what that version of myself would be because I feel like where I find the most inspiration is from feelings of tumult and rejection”
She’s either a Jyestha or Mula moon, I’m more inclined to believe Jyestha (=Dhumvati=misfortune=rejection)
Mercurials and their fucking journals man 😭
When I was 8 there was this Revati boy in my class who kept a tiny notebook and he’d make note of whenever someone would wrong him. Encountered many such cases since then
Mercurials and their fucking journals man 😭
Bharani comes from the same root word as “suffer” and “euphoria”
Krittika is also linked to the word critic.
According to the internet critic comes from the Greek kritikos but that’s way too similar to have no correlation to the Sanskrit word that means the exact same thing
I couldn’t find many other words that can be traced further back than Latin but I find it interesting how some western words resemble nakshatras both phonetically and in meaning.
Arduous = Ardra
Reverie = Revati
I wonder if it’s just coincidence or there’s also etymology behind it
Been going through the antardasha of my one Ashlesha planet and the way the people in my life have been acting.. my supposed “friends” openly admitting they don’t think I’m capable, looking down on me, taking me for granted when I show up for them, never showing basic consideration and respect but giving it to their other “cooler” friends. Also been dealing with parasitic manipulative letting agencies and landlords
I’ve completely withdrawn socially and feel so bitter these days it’s giving me a new found empathy with the Ashleshas of the world LOL.
It’s really a battle between letting people disrespect you and “disrespecting” (calling out) them. And then not letting your frustration aggravate the situation
Swati is always looking to explore different avenues or acquire different skills. Unfortunately by dabbling in everything, their efforts become divided and nothing sustainable comes of it (worst case scenario)
They can also just be very easily distracted and non-committal
This is part of why Saturn exalts here, as it narrows down Swati’s options, so they don’t have the opportunity to divide their efforts
In Vishakha, the pressure reaches a climax. Swati’s leisurely wind becomes a roaring thunder.
The need to make a choice becomes undeniable. We come to a crossroad (“two-branched”, Vishakha’s symbol is an archway) where we must commit to one path and make use of the creativity and intellect we’ve been building up through the preceding nakshatras.
Vishakha -> Anuradha -> Jyestha is where we choose a path and take it until we reach the top
One of the things with having the planet Jupiter placed in a very significant position is that you will always carry the fundamental hope you can do or survive anything
They’re the type to “reach for the moon and hope they land upon on the stars”
Even for the weakest Jupiter; you can be outwardly negative, hate yourself, but deep down you will always know it’ll all be ok. This can lead to not knowing your limits and not setting realistic goals. Especially when Saturn is also weak
I know I say something like this every 6 months so just ignore me but I really want to delete my entire internet presence. I just hate social media so much, it’s all so fake and performative 🫤 I keep coming back to yap though lol
OBSERVATIONS ON BHĀRANI NAKSHATRA
Bharani acts like Saturn but on steroids
Saturn places restrictions on an individual, it gives structure and form.
This nakshatra is all about correcting the form and refining it.
Bharani a will often “purify” the people around them by placing restrictions around them for example your food intake : what do you eat ? How much you eat ? What do you listen to ?
(I wouldn’t be surprised if Yolanda Hadid was a bharani)
Bharanis will serve the cosmic purpose of a mother: correcting you all the time, an immature person will see this as an attack but this is truly love (when not done in an abusive way) because bharani wants you to be the best and the highest thing so it uses it’s fire as a way to purify just like inscence cleans out the air by “burning it”.
For example: Cate Blanchett, bharani ascendant plays Cinderella evil step mother who is the main force behind the refinement of uttara bhadrapada Cinderella
Now it was done as a way to destroy her but benevolent bharani will assume the same role as a way to fortify and purify.
The restrictions that bharani places have a lot to do with what goes inside the body as well as outside of it.
Bharani cosmic purpose seems to be tied to the maximum preservation of the physical form when it’s well positioned so according to Vic Dacara in Sun/Moon/Mars/Jupiter/Ketu as these planets have the strength to carry out bharani energy as they don’t clash out too much with it’s meaning and purpose.
When soft planets like Venus/Mercury/Rahu/Saturn comes in contact with bharani it will be more difficult for bharani to truly express it’s purpose and they feel uncomfortable that’s where the overindulgence of bharani comes from.
Saturn in particular will intensify these themes so much that they become unbearable that’s why Saturn gets debilitated in this nakshatra
If you leads an uncomfortable life you are going to look for it through : food, alcohol, gambling, S*x, Smoking. Bharani is an uncomfortable place to be in because it’s like undergoing childbirth.
The pain the suffering, the pressure of it but at the end you get the child which is the most precious thing in the universe.
The following Venus nakshatras get their purpose from the effort initiated by Bharani:
-Purva Phalguni enjoys the most beautiful things
-Purva Ashada creates the most beautiful things
To really master Bharani’s energy is to stop looking for comfort and dwell in that cemetery kind of energy.
Bharanis will definitely enjoy things which are dark or scary more the average person and will definitely feel the most comfortable when surrounded by it.
I have also noticed that bharani women can get sexually harassed or even assaulted a lot as the world that we are living in is full of impurity (just look at what politicians do) and men who do not have a way to expel their impurity naturally will feel attracted to the fire of bharani (the yoni) as mean of “purifying” themselves.
Also bharani is the Yoni therefore the highest thing so it can also play a role in having weird interactions with the opposite sex.
“Feminine/Masculine” planet stereotypes vs actual nakshatra behaviour
There has been an oversimplification where people assume that is if a nakshatra is associated with a “feminine” planet that it automatically constitutes to feminine behaviour. This has a level of truth but can often be misleading
Obviously planet associations aren’t everything, this is just a general overview
Venus nakshatra women are “masculine” in the sense that they have a naturally dominant presence, and operate from a place of their own personal desires which are often erotic or indulgent in nature. Being desire-oriented is conventionally a masculine trait. Sapphic Venus nakshatra women are often tops
This is also why Venus nakshatra men are often the idealised generous romantic men.
That is if they’re not in their mothers basement suffering from a pornography addiction
Venus nakshatras have an idea of what is the best, and then they confidently pursue that desire so that they can be close to or even own it. They love the persuit and the act of desiring the most
Their “masculinity” (provider mentality, romanticism) is their way of attracting feminine beauty/divinity/indulgence. They’re very yang like that.
^This has a particular relevance to Purva Phalguni but relates to all Venus nakshatras because they all have a level of deep lust to them
Sun nakshatra women can be similarly “masculine” is the sense that they are straightforward and uncompromising. They are also quite “feminine” in that they wait for others to pursue them. Their solar nature leads to them attract a lot of leeches if you will. For women this will mostly be men, and the specific way they respond to that depends, it usually results in setting boundaries in some way.
Uttara Phalguni in particular likes to look at relationships through a practical and contractual lense. Uttara Ashadha has the lowest desire for romance out of all nakshatras (no yoni consort) so it’s also easy for them to be “loveless” about how they approach their relationships. Krittika is on a similar wavelength to UP, but while UP is more about pleasure, Krittika is more about the actual act of criticising or discerning
They end up in one of 3 categories:
1. Androgynous presenting and/or very critical of male centred behaviour and social dynamics (least common). Are otherwise passionate about the dignity and integrity of women
2. The “high value man” crowd. The women who write about how the correct man should behave and how women should act to attract them. They still perform femininity. Wizard Liz (Krittika sun) is a prime example of this.
3. The Sydney Sweeneys (UA moon, UP sun) of the world who are just straight up living for the male gaze. They find great joy and validation in the attention they attract, and will go to great lengths to shine as much as possible ☀️
Type 2&3 both perform a very male-gaze friendly type of femininity. They both subscribe to the idea of a woman being a shiny reward that a man acquires.
The underlying similarity between all 3 is the desire to have others feed off the remains of their solar light (ie. bask in their presence). It’s just that many are wary of the way that this turns into parasitism.
When combined with any mercury nakshatra this adds to the paranoia surrounding being betrayed by other people, so they’re more likely to be 1 & 2. Ashlesha and Revati are the biggest birds amongst all genders- perhaps a discussion for another time
Bharani - Deliverance
Bharani is one of the thematically darker, more austere nakshatras, but it is still a nakshatra of guiding others.
This is not your typical forgiving gentle guidance, because not everyone knows how to receive that, and not every situation can make use of it. The darkest suffering requires the most radical perseverance to traverse through. Whilst other guiding nakshatras provide comfort, Bharani prioritises action
Bharani’s intensity catered to match the intensity of the metaphorical river Styx they take others across
Life is war yes, but it’s an honour to fight for something so beautiful. When we carry the burdens of those we love, they feel weightless on our shoulders
“History calls those men the greatest who have ennobled themselves by working for the common good; experience acclaims as happiest the man who has made the greatest number of people happy.” -Karl Marx Bharani sun, moon, rahu
Eat, Pray, Love - Pushya's Wisdom on How to Find Happiness
Eat, Pray, Love is a film adaptation of a classic early 21st century memoir. The message of both the book and the novel is very strong in Pushya themes, written by a Pushya Sun author and portrayed by a Pushya Lagna actress.
To understand the brilliant simplicity of Pushya, it is valuable to note that both the Cancer sign and Pushya as a Nakshatra are the exaltation point for Jupiter, being the abode for his deity, Brihaspati. Ironically enough, Pushya is also the birth Nakshatra for Venus, despite the planets being enemies.
The reason for this irony is the fact that everything in this Universe comes from God. The Universe, The Cosmos, The Greatest Spiritual Force may have abstract, high-minded origins, but if God created everything, God also created our physical bodies and the possibility of comfort and healing through life on Earth. Thus, the Guru in Pushya through Brihaspati possesses the wisdom of both the Devas (Jupiter) and the Asuras (Venus).
Eat, Pray, Love is indeed a spiritual manual on how to find happiness as a human being in a transcendental way in a hectic, modern society that teaches people to be self abnegating and overachieving, chasing instant gratification and the drug of quick sex and compulsive romance. There is a contrast that can be observed in Pushya that while the height of Venus requires the peak of control and refinement in Pisces, the joie de vivre of Jupiter is found in simplicity.
True happiness doesn't require us to make six figures or own a 3000 square foot mansion. Pushya points at the fact that happiness is found on the inside, in the stability of mind.
First Step - Eat
Eat is a metaphor, although it also goes in line with Pushya's association with nourishment. The point of "Eat" is really about being able to ground and appreciate your physical body and the process of caring for it while shedding inhibitions and complexes that society tries to put on us. As physical beings in a human incarnation, we are part of nature and connect to it through the materials we consume in various forms. Since modern times are rife with distractions, we consume various energies with no real presence or awareness. Having a microwaved dinner while watching TV and scrolling your phone at the same time is not nourishment. Simple actions of socializing and sharing a meal with people are fundamentally healing and a key to eliminating anxiety and achieving daily ritual physical happiness.
Second Step - Pray
While Pray refers, of course, to traditional prayer and touches on visiting spiritual places in India and quieting your mind in a religious setting, its message is really discipline. Our modern world is rife with distractions, scrolling social media with no purpose every 5 seconds, always having something playing in the background. Quiet rhythm and discipline are necessary to cut out excess noise and purify our energetic bodies, and stop them from rushing. Pray also exemplifies Pushya's Saturn rulership, showing that service and trimming off any excess are a polarity of really enjoying abundance, because if we have too much nothing is really worth anything.
Being able to stop operating on all cylinders all the time allows for certain necessities, like better sleep or connecting with nature through surrender and the grounded pace of simple physical tasks like cleaning.
Final Step - Love
Despite its romantic setting, Love has a much more far-reaching message that we should find a spark, passion, devotion, and excitement in everything we do and everyone we spend time with.
While the first two parts focused on achieving balance, the last part shows that we shouldn't hold onto our imagined rules too rigidly, and spontaneity in the face of something truly precious to your heart is also wisdom. Love really puts emphasis on flexibility being an indispensable part of human happiness since you need to preserve your ability to receive God's gifts freely and spontaneously, even if they come in a form you didn't expect.
While all of these steps may sound simple and obvious on the surface, thinking of how many people in our modern world don't know how to live by them. How many people seek therapists, lose themselves in excessive medicating, or various other addictions. Pushya's simple remedies for happiness have been largely lost and aren't praised in Western society anymore. Yet, films like Eat, Pray, Love are still being made, so clearly, there is hope for us after all.
Why Women Must Question Conventional Spiritual Authority
A while ago I designated this book as required reading for an understanding of Vedic astrology and Vedic philosophy in general.
Now, I am generally careful with my language, and so I said it was a “must-read”. I didn’t say that I endorsed Vedic philosophy. There is a very big difference. I recommend this book because it will help to give you objective insight into how people think in this spiritual framework.
One thing that we as women must always remember is that just as shitty males exist now, shitty males existed 2000 years ago. And just as shitty males write senseless bullshit now, shitty males wrote senseless bullshit 2000 years ago. Just because something is a classic text doesn’t give it inherent worth. The classic texts are filled with heaps and piles of misogynistic horseshit.
Let me give you an example. Indra, the ruler of Jyeshtha, has a consort named Indrani, also known as Shachi. Shachi’s primary role is described as giving Indra his lofty status. This is of course, dressed up in very romanticized language, like oh Shachi is the SHAKTI and BRILLIANCE of Indra who elevates his GLORY to the highest heights.
But if you look at it for what it really is, it’s just the same old shit where men use women as objects to signal their status. That’s all it is.
And throughout the “spiritual” classics you will find this same drivel littered all over the place, where women are simply proxies for men’s “glory”.
We as women must always question and fight against these horrid constructs so we can move forward as a collective (unlike certain dummies who sell “female path” courses that, instead, reinforce these constructs).
So, always question these classics before absorbing them, and always remember that your immaterial power as a woman is found when you turn within.
Just the other day, I read some classics and felt uncomfortable. Thought to myself “well despite this being a primary/secondary source, it was still written/translated by a man.”
