Okay, stuff went.
Not even weird, occurrences have simply happened. The little silver boi got a home an hour after the first lady turned him down. The last two girls, including the naughty one, are booked in for collection tomorrow. The car's brakes got wellied whilst we were STILL MOVING. So we now have the two boys looking for a new family that will collect them and trying to scrape cash together to get the car repaired.
Brakes went at 70 mph on the A691, which has no road lights and is busy, so that was nice.

OH - a GOOD THING!!! We've been working with the feral mega-colony for 6 years now, gradually trapping, neutering and releasing the cats and rehoming their kittens. We've done 99 neuters, medical treatments, monitoring and palliative care. So now we are on the last 5 cats to need neutering. The two litters recently born are already logged. This one is nearly done.

Family did the right thing - he was nervous and they were worried about how loud and boisterous they were and it's affect on him. Still sad though.

Little miss 'I won't stay still for the camera' went to her new home tonight. So that's two homed this week with three booked in for tomorrow.
House is starting to feel a little empty, but I can't keep every cat that comes through - it's a rescue charity, not a 'give every abandoned kitten to Jo so she can KEEP THEM' charity. Five to go from this bunch, and only five feral cats left unneutered in this colony (for now).
Six years of work and 104 ferals neutered, more than 100 kittens homed and masses of medical care and time is finally getting toward the upkeep only stage.
Then on to the three smaller colonies in this area.

from personal expirence, i am begging yall to completely avoid betterhelp. they specifically push christian therapists onto patients who ask for non-christian help. they did it to me and theyve done it to others. the therapists will consistently pressure you into using a camera or doing audio calls, even if you request against it. the therapists are actively homophobic and transphobic and will spread that rhetoric during your sessions.
do not use betterhelp. do not even give them the time of day.
I have colleagues who have found public-facing profiles FOR THEMSELVES that are being run by Better Help despite being completely unaffiliated with the company. In at least one case, the profile was riddled with inaccuracies and bad info and the way my colleague FOUND OUT IT EXISTED was by being issued an initial warning by their fucking licensing board about it. You are reading that correctly, she was sanctioned by her licensing board for a public facing profofessional profile page she hadNO PART IN CREATING AND DID NOT KNOW EXISTED because A COMPANY SHE DID NOT WORK FOR decided to make shit up for it.
Better Help is incredibly unethical and should not be allowed to continue existing given its current business practices.
