do u guys ever wonder about which of your ancestors were gay. like was my great-great-great-grandmother actually in love with her best friend when she was a young girl? did one of my great-grandfather’s brothers have an affair with another man when some war or other was playing out? did anyone run away w/ their gay lover, never to be heard from again? i NEED to know
Was *I* my great-great-great-great grandfather, or am I his reincarnated homosexual lover?
Good Spirits, inked.
This is what a real, qualified OBGYN will tell you about what women feel when they get an abortion
Dr. Willie Parker, who is trained as a gynecologist and OBGYN, is a hero for the pro-choice movement because he’s honest about the undiscussed aspects of getting (or not getting) an abortion. Watch how he gives a consultation.
That last statement about regret is so important, because so many people don’t understand what it is or what causes it. Anti-choicers exploit this by manipulating pregnant people and creating doubt, which only increases the likelihood of regret, no matter what decision the pregnant person makes. You know what is best for you, even if it takes some time to figure it out.

Willie Parker is a HERO among common people!
Dr. Parker is one of the few things I like about Alabama and we are so fortunate to have him here.

‘clair de lune’ by debussy but you’re wandering down the halls of your wealthy reclusive uncle’s grand and empty mansion trying to find who’s playing the piano because you haven’t seen another soul for weeks except your reflection in the mirror (youtube)

Golden Girls was more progressive decades ago than half of America now.
I get the appeal of natural and/or magical medicine. I'm drawn to healing, myself. It's what most of my personal craft is focused on. But some of y'all need to remember that we have real doctors now for a reason
Healing magic is a supplement. And it works! It helps! But relying on it alone is like taking gummy vitamins instead of eating. If you have access to professional medical help Please do so
And outside of witchcraft. Natural remedies Without magic can also only get you so far. If a cup of tea helps you sleep, great! If you keep an aloe vera in the kitchen in case you get burned, great! I'm all for it! But again modern medicine is. Good. This shouldn't be a controversial opinion
Story time!
My mom and I had Covid and it was miserable.
My sister in law has her doctorate in eastern medicine and acupuncture and has her own private practice (I’ll drop her link down below), but lemme tell you that when I thought my mom was gonna die, I thought I was gone lose her. I myself was really fuckin terrible off, but I’m in my early twenties and am for the most part in pretty good physical condition, so that’s besides the point. My sister overnighted us some herbs specifically to treat upper respiratory infections, and within three days of using the herbs as prescribed, my mother and I were able to move and talk after being bed bound and unable to do anything other than cough or sleep. I’m a massive proponent for natural/herbal medicine, also considering my own practices and whatnot.
But I’ll tell anyone else this, if there was a vaccine or anything else, I would’ve taken it in a heartbeat. Broken leg - doctor, uncontrollable bleeding - doctor, fever - herbs, general illness - I treat myself with herbs I grow, and if I notice it gets worse, doctor. Natural medicine slaps, but western and eastern medicine should be used in conjunction with each other, not instead of each other
This is her website btw. She’s incredibly brilliant and specializes in biological female anatomy, but works with Qi-gong, is a third generation healer, and she knows her shit
At Acufunkture, we use Traditional Chinese Medicine and Functional Medicine to naturally bring your body back into balance.
@apoptosisarchangel 👀 drop the herb names? Also yeah, I have a chronically ill friend who uses Qi-Gong and functional medicine...in addition to western meds. They don't have to fight!
So this is the shipping label that I got when the herbs came in. The first order is mine and the second was my mom’s. The herbs are modified based on the symptoms you’re having, so it’s not like you’re throwing a bunch of leaves in a pot and calling it quits. It’s an actual prescription of eastern medicinal herbs.
Here’s a few pics of the herbs while they were being made and after they are brewed. Warning: mine tastes absolutely terrible, but they work
