reminder   that   takumi’s   inferiority   complex      is   not   a   joke,   even   though   intsys   cannot   write   mental   illness   in   any   capacity,   esp   in   fates   lmao.   it’s   something   he   struggles   with   daily,   even   with   those   he   loves   the   most.   it’s   a   direct   result   of   trauma :   he   lost   both   parents   and   an   elder   sibling   within   a   short   period   of   time.   it’s   only   exacerbated   by   being   the   younger   brother   to   the   crown   prince.   he   doesn’t   need   to   be   babied,   though.   he   finds   that   condescending.   he   needs   love   and   support   from   those   close   to   him   and   i   cannot   stress   that   enough.

not to be controversial but considering how the hoshidan nobles are a completely diff ethnicity from the hoshidans (if we’re to consider the dragons a different ethnic group with distinct history and culture, the same lineage which the european nohrian royals also belong to, as they’re outsiders which simply came to power in this land heavily-inspired by japan) then is it right to say that there is a way to subvert the colonial narrative by having other east asian (korean, chinese) or southeast asian elements woven into the hoshidan royals specifically ? because hoshido is known as the land of peace and we ALL know that japan’s history is ... literally the opposite of that. japan’s actions mirror nohr more than they do hoshido regarding foreign relations LMAO
