A day at the park!

The stars aligned, the weather gods blessed us, and as a result, we caught Atlanta in its most beautiful season - Fall. Piedmont Park, the “Central Park of Atlanta” was empty on this rainy Tuesday morning, so we spent three hours walking around finding cool things to shoot. I mean, we even got the geese to pose for us!

Beautiful Smokies. April 2015.

A short visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park did my soul a whole lotta good. I’ve always felt calm and whole in nature, and this time, I realized why. 

So you’re on this trail that ends in a waterfall. If you get too excited and walk fast, you’ll get tired, you can twist your ankle, you’ll run out of water. And for all you know, the guidebook was lying about how beautiful this waterfall is. So, take it slow and enjoy the journey. Look around, explore and take a break at the next mile marker. You have no choice but to take it one step at a time. Now to apply this to real life...

I was going to name this “A beautiful sunrise”, but I realized I use the word beautiful too much. Guess I need to read more!

Sunrise trek near Rishikesh, Uttar Pradesh, India. The favorite part of that trip was that I enjoyed the sunrise with two Russians, a German, a Brit, and their tour guides, all of us nursing our chai glasses to stay warm. It’s so inspiring to hear why people travel, and their lives back home. Cheers to that.

Spring: the world wakes up from a long cold nap. Flowers are bursting anywhere and everywhere, greens seem greener, and cloudy days make for the best photography. This spring, I’ve had the awesome opportunity to travel a lot. So here are shots of spring from all my travels :)
