It certainly was something to look twice at - this Wayfinder thing. Even he had seen nothing like it and he prided himself on the things he had seen. From a simple glance, from the way she spoke of it and to the way she held it showed her evident care of this particular trinket. Had she ever lost it? The thought of her running about frantically came to mind; it almost made him crack a smile.
Musing over the legend she had spoken of, Gabriel fond himself eyeing the object with a much keener eye than before. Emerald hues glinting both amusement and eagerness, must have been infectious. So he blamed her. “I’ve never seen or heard anything about it honestly, must have been out of the loop when that legend came to fruition. Shame.” An almost dejected sigh slipped from his lips but he continued nonetheless.
“So someone else, has a charm just like the one you have? To intertwine your destinies?” He was almost jealous, bonds like that were certainly something to love.
Ah, so that was it. Simple curiosity. Aqua could understand that- many worlds had people filled with the fervor to learn about that which was unknown to them. Some things could be allowed to other worlds, and this was certainly one of them. Such a legend had already crossed boundaries before- no harm in letting it continue to do so. “Well the legend has been around for a very long time. I doubt anyone alive was around when it actually came to be.” Truly, even Aqua did not know when it might have actually originated.
Fingers gently brushed the edges of her own charm at his inquiry. It was a personal matter, but she was proud of the people she knew. No matter how far astray they may go. “Yes. There are two, actually.” Her hand slid back to the pouch where she usually stored her charm and deposited the glistening object back into its safe place. “I made them for good luck for me and my friends. I’ve actually been looking for them- have you seen anyone named Ven or Terra around here lately?”
