     Aqua’s arrival on this new world was chaotic at best. She had touched down in a desert of some kind- blazing sun, searing sand- but she had only a few moments to register her surroundings before something assaulted her. It was large, dark, with claws that could easily tear her Keyblade from her hands. Only the swift reactions garnered from her training saved her from taking a hefty hit. She cartwheeled out of the way of the ambusher’s strike before trying to steady herself in the shifting sands. This terrain was unusual to fight on, but Aqua had to do what she could.

     A Keyblade materialized quickly into her hand; the bursts of light shifted and formed ice crystals at the tip of its blade. She held the spell, allowing it to grow in strength, before firing it off at the very last second. The beast was hardly deterred by her magic. Only the briefest of hesitations allowed her the chance to escape. There was nearly nowhere to go at this point. Frantic eyes scanned the horizon for anyone nearby-

“Is anyone there? Please, I could use some help!”

I refuse to put her in a situation where she’s being controlled by an external force (ie paid off, family held hostage, that kind of thing) because I firmly believe that Rose would never allow herself to be persuaded by money or seemingly hopeless circumstances.
